Great selection of quality food. Very generous portions.

·

Great food, cosy cafe and friendly, helpful staff. Great service too!

A brilliant find for lunch or an afternoon snack (and other meals, I'm sure) - a warm welcome in a fully Covid safe environment (more careful about this than most places) and a very extensive and reasonably priced menu. The meal was tasty and very well presented. The atmosphere was friendly, busy, genteel, and efficient all at the same time. I would definitely call in again, were I to be passing through Sedbergh again.

Just popped in for some breakfast whilst doing the Dales Way. Gorgeous food, plenty as you can see. Coffee was gorgeous. As was the ginger cordial. Would highly recommend a visit here. Tables not crammed in, can get busy.

Visited while on a girly break in Sedbergh and it was lovely. Lovely wholesome food and goodies reasonably priced. Staff were so friendly and helpful as well as adhering to COVID rules. Well worth a visit.

Stopped here today after a walk with family, The place was very inviting and they allowed dogs which was nice. The staff were very friendly and more than helpful and the food was delicious a little gem, would highly recommend.

Shut for 3 days during one of the busiest weeks of the year for older travellers When we did try and go in we were bluntly told that we should have booked a table for this almost empty cafe

Booked a table for two today at lunchtime. Neither of us have been out and about, so felt quite safe, comfortable and relaxed in a well managed cafe. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our delicious food choices. If you have not been here - Smatts Duo Cafe - then I recommend you go. Plenty of choice and something for everyone all homemade, well organised and clean. Yes I will definitely be eating here again.

Great little find. Popped in for breakfast on a Wednesday morning and luckily got a seat, as 5 minutes later people were queued out the door. Full English and smoked salmon and scrambled eggs were ordered - delicious! Friendly service. Would definitely recommend.

What a fabulous little eateries. My husband and I stumbled across it as we looked for a place to have lunch. Lovely intimate cafe at the beginning of main street. The menu in the window offered a great selection of delicious homemade sandwiches paninis scones in fact too many lite bites to mention. Cooked breakfasts and also main meals. They also had a good child's menu. I chose homemade soup of the day which was butternut squash and chilli and a balm which was huge filled with bacon lettuce and tomato and a pot of Yorkshire tea. All was absolutely delicious. My husband choose beef lasagne and hand cut chips. Huge portion which he said was very good. The lady who served us was very friendly. Inexpensive meal. We would definitely recommend.
