The Stan Laurel Inn in South Lakeland

Me and two friends ate here on Good Friday. Food was varied and excellent served by welcoming staff. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent food. Both had fish & chips with pint of real ale. Professional service and obviously trained and skilled chef. Nice dessert selection. Very clean establishment. Social distancing in place. Will definitely return.

My family like to come here for lunch when I visit them in Ulv, because it's a nice casual environment with good food and friendly staff.

My son and I ate there on Tuesday 6th. Very welcoming, cheerful and obliging staff! Food was very tasty, especially the waffle with toffee sauce for dessert. Really nice ambience in the pub, tables well spaced and no intrusive musak. Highly recommended for a pub meal in Ulverston!

A very well run pub, beautiful inside with very attentive, customer friendly staff. Food was superb and nothing too much trouble. Well done Trudi and the team and good luck next year in the London Marathon. Strongly recommend a great place for a pint and lunch after a visit to the museum.

Slightly outside the centre but well worth the short walk. Lovely staff who were friendly and happy to chat about laurel and hardy. Lots of figurines paying tribute. Did not have time to eat but nice seated area and reasonably priced food.

We had a great meal. The food was plentiful and tasty. I had mushroom pot to start with then turkey scallops stuffed with cranberries and sausage on mash with a delicious gravy.The music was great. Staff were friendly and chatty.We'll definitely go back there when we are back in Ulverston.

Fantastic local pub serving the best pub grub we've ever had. Massive potion size for a fair price. Kids meals are great value and again a good size. The owners and staff cannot do enough for you and make you welcome as soon as you arrive. Our go to place when visiting the area.

Great selection. Great food. Great staff. Great price. The £10 menu is a great idea and shows others it can be done. You can have a menu with more than six choices and you don't have to charge £15.95 for a burger! Keep up the good work guys.
