The Station Inn in South Lakeland

Very busy Saturday night, they had a back log of orders it was a very long wait for food. Fish dish could be better with a sauce of some sort.Lamb and pie meals very good with extra gravy and generous portions. Staff very friendly, helpful and apologetic for delays.Obviously a very popular pub.

The dog and I camped here 1 night in June 2021 on our Lands End to John O'Groats cycle ride. Small, peaceful, pretty and clean site. I didn't make use of the pub for my food but wished I had, I saw people eating and it all looked pretty scrumptious! I would stay here again if in the area :)

Just had a rather impromptu Sunday lunch after walking our dogs. Lovely friendly atmosphere and welcome. Nice roast lunch - very happy to recommend

Stayed here on Saturday night in the camper. Lively quiet setting with a specific area for overnight stays. Had black waste facilities too. The staff were warm and welcoming and the food was superb. Had the lamb henry special, must say the portions were huuuuuge! Will definatley return 😊

Been here for food several times and yet to have anything close to a bad meal. Really enjoy the food you get and it's a nice spot to be in. Can't complain at the pricing for the quality you get. There is ample parking too

Had a great stay here and would recommend it.The staff were really friendly and helpful, the room was huge, clean and had everything we needed.The food in the restaurant was really nice (with some decent veggie options), plus drinks were really reasonably priced and the whole place had a very welcoming atmosphere. Then breakfast the following day was great (the veggie sausage was really good).All in all this is a great place for lots of reasons, and well worth a visit.
