Clean fish and chip shop in the heart of the village. Everything is cooked separately and the fish is fresh. It's best consumed immediately. Service was friendly and fast.

Stopped off when roading tripping through lake Windermere tried the chefs fishcake was absolutely banging! not just your standard mashed fishcake the gravy is thick and tasty and best of all its not overpriced nice portions too

Lovely food, great addition having the upstairs dining area. Fish was nice and fresh. Staff very pleasant and welcoming.

Food is good, great choice for none meat eaters, though asking me if I wanted a little plastic fork instead of the wooden one then adding 20p to my bill without mentioning I was being charged for it is a little sneaky/cheeky..the price of the food isn't exactly cheap and I'm sure it wouldn't break their bank to give a little back to the customers that support them, only 20p yeah sure..but that's my point, something that probably costs a penny in bulk, just seems a bit greedy.

Lunch time stop on way home , excellent fish and chips freshly cooked to order , sweet fish and crisp chips

Very impressed. Went in because they use vegetable oil and it's gluten free. Fish and chips taste great. Great quick service and they give sauces. Good portions too. Reasonable prices.

By far and away the best gluten free fish and chips I have ever had! Cooked to order, piping hot and would not have known it was not "normal". Rest of the party also very happy with their meals

To quality skinless fish swiftly cooked to order. The best I've had in years. Gluten free options were many. Eat in area was clean and spacious. All in all high recommended.

Absolutely fabulous fish and chip shop in the centre of Bowness on Windermere. Gluten free options were brilliant! Separate food prep and cooking facilities and even gf vinegar!!! Will definitely be visiting again
