I didn't stay but visited for lunch. It was so poor. I ordered a crusty bread sandwich the bread was not crusty just standard slice of a loaf. My husband ordered a burger. That was it a burger and chips in a small pot. Not even a spot of salad. Will not be going back wouldn't recommend it!

Arrived a bit early. First staff member we encountered was Emma. She was lovely. Gave our small deaf dog treats and gave us lots of information on the hotel. She was very professional and pleasant. Please thank her from us. After check in staff were helpful throughout. They arranged a table for us to celebrate my birthday when other family members arrived for a stay at the hotel. Used a few Inn Collection hotels. This one is at the top of the tree. Thanks.

Good food, friendly staff. Excellent place for lunch with a great menu and choice of beers. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area. Will visit again 😊

Clean, easy access, free disabled parking, flat entrance. Polite friendly helpful staff. Excellent meal warned there may be a delay for food but that didnt happen. The view from the indoor seating and out door eating area was excellent. Great place to relax and recharge.

Nice place to eat. Typical pub food but at the higher end of the menu. Nice atmosphere as well. Dog friendly. May need to book table as at popular times gets quite full.

It goes without saying … spectacular position and views over Ambleside. Very friendly and helpful staff, lunchtime specials menu … the sausage and mash was very tasty and good value, followed by rhubarb crumble and custard. Wife enjoyed her mussels. Very spacious, lots of beers 🍺 to choose from.

Superb lunch today, pie and a pint but chef clearly has a passion for his homemade pies. Had the steak and ale pie, mash and veg, easily one of the best pies I’ve ever had. proper gravy for the buttery mash, washed down with a well kept and pulled pint of local brewery Tirril Blonde. Warm welcome from Friendly staff 10/10

We booked a winter break and requested a disabled room. On arrival we had a room on the first floor of the "Rabbit Waren" of so many corridors and stairs. Luckily I only need my wheelchair when I don't have my prosthetic leg. Staff were amazing. Nick on the bar is a great asset as are all the waiting staff. Great Spanish lady in restaurant and she is a delight. The restaurant is overlooking the beer garden with great views of the lake and hills beyond. Great food. Only down is cost of drinks.
