Waterside Cafe/Bistro in South Lakeland

I love this place. First found it last summer, took a 2 hour detour to pop in for lunch. The choices are amazing with fabulous daily specials being updated constantly.A must try is the seitan kebab 😋

Lots of space and tables. Some interesting drink choices like the Macha Latte. Reasonable prices and friendly customers.

Nice place inside. Very vegan/vegetarian if you know what i mean. They make a good coffee. I wish they done sandwiches and paninis. We went here for the views.

Just brilliant. We arrived cold and wet in the middle of a downpour, wondering why the hell we came to Kendal. As soon as we sat down and got our wet coats off, we were comfortable. The menu is superb. We had Buddha Bowls, Pash'n'fruit smoothie, fancy flapjacks and coffee. And it was wonderful. Everything. We'll be back!

I'm not a veggie/vegan but really enjoyed our lunch at this place. Lots of things on the menu I fancied, and the tart I went for was lovely. Great service, and very reasonable prices.

Unimpressed by quality and price. The service was excellent and staff are cheerful. It's early days and I wish them the best. I'll return on my own next time and eat slowly while tasting the food.

We chatted to a local who was raving about the place. Shame he couldn't write this review instead he was that effusive! Catered really well for allergens. Great to sit outside in the sunshine. Loved the pancakes! We'll be visiting again before we leave.

Lovely vegan and vegetarian cafe, friendly staff, The day we went it seemed a bit chaotic but it was a really lovely meal and reasonably priced! Worth the wait !!

A fabulously delicious vegan afternoon tea (a fab mix of savoury - yummy beetroot wrap - and sweet) that I've had a few times during lockdown to celebrate various virtual occasions (the salted caramel cake is truly amazing)!!!! Delivery or collection is offered which makes things really flexible! :-)

This has been one of the best healthy restaurants I have been to in UK. Very filling and large proportions of food. This definitely a great salad spot. Treat yourself for some nice I've cream or coffee to with a nice outdoors view!!!
