Bread & Butter in South Ribble

Really pleased with my experience here. I took my coeliac nephew for some food and the staff were really helpful. They made sure to help guide us through the menu and make sure we were taken care of. And the food was really nice. Would definitely go back soon, especially knowing they accommodate for gluten-free diets. Thank you to the helpful staff!

Went for afternoon tea and really enjoyed it, the food was superb with lots of choice.Presentation of it was amazing and looked great. Staff really pleasant and couldn’t do enough for us.Will be back here v.soon 🙂

Well. Where can I start? We went for the Sunday lunch. From the outside it looks clean and sharp but...cosy. Inside, it's not the biggest place but the intimate setting and being able to see into the kitchen really adds to the atmosphere and gives the impression that they know what they're doing, they're proud of what they're serving and they want you to see the magic happen. And my oh my. I was expecting a nice roast. I was not expecting faultless food. I mean really, totally, exceptionally, faultless. Hands down the best roast I've ever had (don't tell my mother in law). I had a lamb roast, it was hot when served; the perfect quantities; the mash was buttery; the gravy was rich; the LAMB, it just melted. Not to forget the service, attentive but not overbearing. All for £16? These guys are playing the game at a level for above what they're charging and all I can really say is bravo and see you again very soon.

We had a fabulous party at Bread & Butter. The food astounding as always. The staff are so lovely and nothing is too much trouble. We love going to wonderful Ryan's restaurant. FAB U LOUS Darling!

Excellent Roast Dinner! We very rarely eat out for a roast, as mamas is best :-) However, it was absolutely beautifully presented & taste even better. A lovely touch how the chef came out to speak to us following our meal. Great place we will defo be back.

I decided to go and try out the burger night at B and B and I not disappointed.The burger was freshly made, turned up to the table piping hot and tasted simply amazing.I went for the steak burger with cheese and bacon and it was sensational.I also upgraded my chips to the salt and pepper option and again they were delicious.The service was great as usual and I really enjoyed the night.Couldn’t recommend highly enough!

Bill below must be mad. One star? Had a fantastic Sunday lunch here today. Usually avoid a Sunday lunch at restaurants as “you just can’t beat your mother’s home cooked roast” but the lamb at Bread and Butter was fantastic! Wine delicious and atmosphere lovely. Will be back

Called in for brunch. Really nice setup. Food and service were great. They serve tapas in the evening, which we are keen to go back and try.

Today we had a great time eating delicious food at Bread and Butter.Place itself is very nice and modern.Great atmosphere and music.Our Afternoon tea was out of this world.Taste , presentation , quality and attention to detail was perfect.Waitresses very polite and friendly.Very clean place.We will be back sooner than we was planing 😋 Congratulations to the Chefs 👏👏👏

Absolutely 😋 Delicious.. On all accounts, first class food and first class service.. A real gem within Penwortham.. Book a table so you won't be disappointed.. Fab night.
