Dolphin Inn Pub in South Ribble

Only called in for a drink with my daughter and the staff were great, very attentive and the atmosphere really nice. Shame we had only just eaten because the food looked really moreish and nothing left on plates. Will be back soon

Went for Sunday lunch and the meal was served quickly and was very tasty and reasonably priced. There was a wide menu with plenty of choice for children and adults alike. The service was very good and the staff were friendly and helpful. There was a choice of of turkey or beef for this visit and both plates were well cooked.

£2.95 for a pint of cask ale. Friendly staff. Salubrious surroundings. All in all, a great pub, highly recommended. I didn't order any food, but what other people ordered looked amazing.

We had a meal here recently and it was brilliant.Lots of people had told us about The Dolphin and it definitely lived up to all the recommendations.It's a lovely pub in a great location,the menu leaves you spoilt for choice,I had mushroom stroganoff, my hubby had the fish and chips,both meals came out freshly cooked and well presented.Excellent food,reasonable prices for both food and drinks.The girls serving us were lovely, very friendly and helpful.We had a lovely evening and will be back again for sure.

Come here and travelled after hearing good reviews, come ordered a glass of wine and others ordered a pint the next round we was confronted by the manager and asked for id. When this was provided she turned it away claiming it was fake. Very rude staff would not recommend

Visited a few times lately while out cycling, always a warm welcome. Lovely cosy room with a real fire. Good selection of ales which are always well kept. All staff are polite and friendly.

Fabulous restaurant, just had my 60th birthday there on the 1st Jan. The food is home cooked and delicious, You get plenty as well, prices are good. The restaurant is very clean and the staff couldn't be more helpful. There is a car park and some parking at the front on the road. It's in a lovely position with plenty of walks around and about. Booking before is essential especially if there are a few of you. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.

Friendly staff and good food. We shared the Ugly burger. Wow! What a feast!

The food here is fantastic. The mixed grill was perfect . Steak was cook to perfection, gammon with 2 eggs, chicken, pork chop, sausage and burger with all the trimmings you would expect and a Yorkshire pudding too! A little more expensive than some mixed grills but based on what came on the plate and the quality, it was worth it. Staff were friendly and a nice out of town location.

I have no words!! Food was AMAZING!! My son enjoyed all the dogs that were welcome too! Service was brilliant and so was the food. No complains at all! Such a nice place. Thankyou! 100% recommend x
