Greenhalgh's in South Ribble

Arrived early & were soon allowed to our table, a bonus. Everywhere was exceptionally clean, spotless. All staff smart, well dressed, helpful & polite.We each ordered the Sunday 3 course special. Good service. Spacious gaps between courses, never felt rushed. Prompt clean up between courses. Food was excellent, faultless. Well cooked, tasty, fair portion sizes for prices. We all left full & wouldn't want more.During a busy spell when a couple of big groups had arrived we asked for more drinks these were understandably slower to arrive due to timing.Our seats were under an air con unit which made it a bit colder for one. Wore a jacket which made it ok.Overall, we loved it, no issues to note & we would certainly go back again. Perfect food & service. Thank you for a lovely visit.

Absolutely lovely meal last night.The Biryani was so tasty and flavoursome. The staff are pleasant and friendly. The barman recommended the Rhubarb & Raspberry tonic as they didn't have ginger ale and wow what a recommendation! Lush! Thanks everyone, we will be back.

Went for a fathers day meal. I've given 2 stars as the food was good but too expensive for what we had. The service however left us feeling very uncomfortable and annoyed. Not only did we have a very long wait for our main course, (understandably as they were busy) but one waiter rudely brushed my hand away as I reached for a dish, and was very abrupt when speaking. We have been on numerous occasions but after being made to feel so uncomfortable we will not be returning.

Absolutely lovely meal, as always. Fantastic food and great staff, can’t recommend highly enough.

Went for sunday night 3 course's for £12 ??? Absolutely gorgeous the lamb was mouthwatering i only had chicken tandoori pieces ,starter , and lamb chops starter with garnish as had and still am on very low calorie protein diet the meats were juicey and succulent my friend could not get over quality and amount service 5* as always ,fab atmosphere cant wait to go again :)

Had my friend's birthday meal here last week and was extremely disappointed! The food was lovely but the service left an awful lot to be desired! I don't think the waiter was very good at speaking English which didn't help but he was extremely rude and abrupt! He served us the dishes in such a way it felt like a conveyor! We weren't once asked if we were ok which is very unusual in an eatery! It wasn't even busy only 2 tables eating as we went early evening! We asked to take left overs away and he wasn't very happy and crammed my curry rice and folded up naan into one of the small containers! Usually. They separate them ! Anyway it will be a long time before I even think about another meal here! We spent £70 too so I did expect better! The stars are for the food which as I stated before was lovely ! Shame about the service!!!

First visit with friends and extremely impressed. One needs gluten free another had a steak but all five of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals.

Our family group ordered a range of dishes. The food was no better than average and the service was very poor. The waiters were inattentive and we had to wait a long time for the main course to arrive, despite the restaurant being quiet. The waiter handling the naan bread was off-putting to say the least but I wasn't confident that sending it back for a replacement would have ended well. No tip and definitely won't be returning.

Staff. Very good; attentive and professional. FOOD WAS AMAZING!! My only criticism is the dim, white and blue lighting.... makes the place seem cold and does nothing to make the food look appetising! Otherwise 5 stars

Really enjoyed the food spot on could not fault it, The staff was very nice and polite will be going back very soon.Loved it.
