Gusto Italia in South Ribble

Lovely little authentic Italian restaurant...a bit of a hidden gem to be honest. We went for a early Friday night dinner with the kids. Lovely fresh calamari and a steak with beautiful gorgonzola sauce for me, we also had a beautiful lasagne and the kids had delicious looking fresh cooked pizza. I m sure the gelato and tiramisu was lovely too, I just couldn't fit it in. :) the service was great too...very busy for take away too, although not disruptive.

Absolutely fantastic, staff were so friendly, service was quick, food brilliant. When it came to the bill, I was sure they had made a mistake, but no!.......excellent value.

Small but well laid out. My daughter went for a build your own pizza party and she loved it. I tried a slice of pizza and it was lovely. They ended with ice-cream cones and they had a large variety of flavours/sauces.

Took my 83 year old Nana an mother out for a meal, what a diabolical,appalling experience! Garlic bread was passable, then the mains came.king prawns were in their shells, more like prawns! The plate was swimming in water, obviously they must have been frozen,the rice must have been a boil In the bag as that looked like rice pudding.Chips were frozen fries with black on most of them! Then the pizza if you can call it that! Worst meal I’ve ever been served and won’t be returning or recommending it to anyone 🤑🤮

Gusto Italian is brilliant restaurant and takeaway. Friendly relaxed atmosphere with a large menu to choose from. Including a selection of ice creams made to order. Nice treat for our Son. The aroma and visual from the pizza oven was lovely. Highly recommended.

I'm sorry for bad review last time I went was nice so thought it would be again but no we had the early bird menu and my fish gougons looked like well seahorse tails the beef stroganoff was OK ish but the meat tasted like it was out of a Tin stringy n fatty. N microwave rice ....was not like this first time I went was really nice so this time so disappointed and midges was flying about but not their fault as obviously hot n doors open the staff were lovely must just of been a bad night 😒 not cheap either when u add the drink

Very good Italian takeaway food, has a sit in area on a bistro type setting. Have ordered from here a few times, Pizzas are.excellent authentic Italian style, the dough is so good I don't leave the crusts! Good amount of toppings. The pollo is outstanding although when it says it comes with garlic butter it is instead of the tomato sauce, so I now ask for tomato and garlic. Have been impressed with it overall, but if being critical, the lasagne was just ok.

Excellent food at great prices. Every time we come we always have a nice meal. Would recommend their pizza cooked in the wood stove. Friendly staff, great local Italian. Ring and book a table at the weekends as it can get busy, which is what you want.
