John Dory in South Ribble

Literally the best fish and chips I've ever had in my life, the fish are massive. some good deals on at the moment. I got served in under 2 minutes, actually it was 1 minute 36 seconds. Best chip shop in brig. BESTC ya tomorrow. Saturday usual timeP. S I like the fish to be prepped and cooked on the spot. I don't like a fish that's been on the keep warm shelf for a while. So IF I do have to wait, the wait is worth it.

Best fish&chips I’ve had in a long time

Foods ok but you order online to pick up. You turn up an atill gave to qeue and they dont have tour ordwr ready they just do it as you arrive so whats point in booking inline for a slot. Im disabled so i order in advance an expect to pick it up. Not wait

Called in at dinner today got fish and chips in a box for me and hubby .it was fantastic the fish tasted amazing.my hubby is a fussy fish person and he loved every bit of it and the chips and peas were just as good x

Literally the worst fish and chips I've ever had in my life, we live around the corner and we ordered our food on the Internet, husband picked it up and came straight home and the fish wasn't one bit warm it was stone cold, a large potion of chips?! I'd say it was a small portion of scraps personally! And just to rub it in that little bit more there were hardly any fish under all that chewy batter! Back to the village chippy I go! 😋

I love this place. Especially on a Saturday night when I have my chippy tea. It's closed Friday when I finish work so my chippy tea is Saturday. Always great service.

Alright but only alright.Ordered onion rings and at 8 for £2 I assumed they'd be homemade. Nope, I got 7 (cook needs to learn to count) onion rings that had come out of the freezer, and I had to wait over ten minutes for them. Not good.The chips were okay, my BF said the fishcake was good but not the best he's had.Next time I'm coming through and decide to visit I'll just get chips and hopefully won't have to wait so long for them.

Best Chippy in Preston area in my opinion.Some chippies are good one day and poor the next but John Dory's is a good nine out of ten everytime.I drive 5 miles to it and they have never let me down once.👏👏👏👏

Fish very dry and over fried, chips had far better. not worth the money. First and only time I will pay a visit. very disapointing.
