Called in today. Never been in a wetherspoons before and was pleasantly surprised. Good selection of beers and well priced food. Nice atmosphere and good bar staff even though the place was heaving, queues were acceptable. Will make a return visit soon.

Don't be fooled by descriptions. The large breakfast is large in name only.- Fried eggs were just the yolk.- Sausage was burnt and tasteless- Bacon was minute- Beans were overcooked- Hashbrowns OK but smallFood was cold.Not going back there again.

1st time going and last time! Went to the bar and felt like a lifetime waiting. People coming and getting serve before me and when addressed this issue the rude two bar people said there's no rule who gets served 1st! Now am not being funny but when your waiting and they know your waiting but still choose to serve people who's just turned up before you is rude! Had enough and walked out. Subway down the road much more quicker with service and no rude staff!

Was seved by a young chap called Liam was unfortunately out of stock on a few items but he was quick to sort it out with an alternative. Despite being busy and understaffed. We was served by him calmy and professionally. Hopefully you guys get more staff soon 👍

Terrible! Decided that after us spending 20 minutes trying to find a table and getting one upstairs to tell me that because it was closing in 45 minutes they would not let me order any food. Even when I said leave the food on the bar and I would take it to table they would not do it!!!! It was my daughter's birthday today and it's ruined thanks to you amateurish pathetic staff who just make the rules up as you go along depending on what you feel like!!!!!

Understaffed and slow service when using the app for ordering. A manager who behaved like a petulant child giving back chat when given a totally valid complaint, even when he was told to stop behaving like a back chatting petulant teenager continued to try and make excuses for the poor food. Whoever hires the staff here needs to be more careful. It's also not pleasant hearing about staffing issues from the management with the shift team whilst trying to enjoy some family time. Not a well run pub to say the least.

This is local to us and at one time was a welcoming, clean and friendly place to visit, which we did quite often. Food was usually very good too.What's going on now though? Called in recently and it was filthy. Food on the floor and every vacant table piled high with plates of left over food and dirty glasses.They need to get their act together and invest in a few more members of staff to make it the place it once was. It's not pleasant or inviting anymore. Quite the opposite.

My friend and I went here on the spur of the moment for a meal on New Year's Day. Haven't been in here before, well at least not since it was the post office! The service was great, the staff were friendly, and the food was beautiful. We'll definitely come back again! 😁
