Midge Hall Country Pub & Dining in South Ribble

Went for an evening meal on a beautiful summer evening. The weather was so nice that we decided to eat in the garden at the rear.Table service was prompt by very pleasant staff who made sure we had everything we needed.Although quite busy we didn’t have to wait long for our starters which were well presented and piping hot.Our main course was similarly good with really generous portions. I had the haddock which was so fresh that I suspect a good vet would have had it flapping!Really glad to see that they’ve survived the difficulties of the pandemic - they can definitely count on our continuing custom

We had a meal for 11 plus a baby here yesterday 11/06 the food was amazing , huge portions and really fresh . The staff were really helpful and friendly , they rushed to help when my elderly dad fell off his chair and showed real concern . Wonderful selection on the menu , lots to choose from and great for vegetarians too , of which there were 3 of us . All in all a fab experience we will be back 😊

We have been for a meal to this pub on a number of occasions including our Christmas lunch the service and the food have always been of the highest standard.Do not believe any of the malicious remarks posted recently on social media these are totally wrong . How anyone can try to damage a business is this manner defeats me.

I love midge hall for an evening trip however we went for a spot of lunch. The food was lovely but it would have been good to see a cheaper lunch menu. Also it wasnt busy yet had to wait quite long for service and the bill at the end.. let it down for me.

The food was delicious, quite busy and noisy, lots of families with young children early evening. Great service and plenty of choice, could maybe add some vegan dishes. Lovely dessert menu.

I just wanted to thank you all for the fab Xmas lunch you provided for us to collect this Christmas. Lexi helped us place our order and was friendly and helpful all the way through. The meal was hot, plentiful and delicious - we were all stuffed! - and the bubbly was superb! Everything was perfect, and such good value, we hope you're doing the same this year. Thank you so much

The wait staff were friendly but we waited over an hour for our food and it was just a bit ridiculous. The food was lovely and fresh and great big portions when it did eventually arrive but unfortunately I would hesitate to revisit because of the wait time.

Family bon voyage meal for my niece. Excellent food and service. Mushroom stroganoff then honeycomb crunch cheesecake both to die for. Only complaint was there too much food so had to leave some !! Really good quality pub food. Highly recommend.
