Excellent again... Apart from the music!I used to visit here at least weekly for ages nearly 20 years ago and I was just as impressed with the food as I was then... There's an offer out the back on the back wall - no mention of that on the menu though, which is as bit deceptive... Wish I'd taken a photo of that offer to share here now, I will next time. They really need some new music, Westlife seems to be the only CD they have, and some of the friends I was with who visit more regularly say it's all they ever play...

The meal tonight was very good. The service was excellent. The portions plentiful. We will definitely be going back for more.

Had lovely meal at The Viceroy last night with friends. The food was amazing. (If you like mild the Kurma was great) The service was good. There was a little mix up with the drinks, but I think that was their dad trying to help out :) Will definitely be returning.

Never sat down and eaten in the restaurant but have had a few takeaways. Food is fantastic and at a very reasonable price.

Best curry around for miles, tried them all and nowhere beats this place.

Waited nearly 2 hours to be served cold rice and a bland curry. Never again...

We have had a few takeaways and thought it was time to eat in. We were not disappointed, great food and excellent service. Will definitely eat here again soon.

I had not been here for over twenty years when I moved to Sussex. Wow, the decor was amazing which gave a good feel about the restaurant. Looking at the menu there was such a variety of starters, mains, & sides it was difficult to make a choice. However, all 4 of us agreed our choices were amazing and we'll have to come back to sample some others. The staff were also friendly & helpful. We'll be back soon.

Been tonight for the first time, family of 4, 4 courses, multiple drinks and outstanding service for £100, now we're from down south so consider that incredibly cheap! Food was amazing, service fantastic and we will 100% be coming back next time we're visiting! Thank you so much!

Not the greatest experience, more than likely will not be returning. Being served meat as a vegetarian is highly disrespectful and for 3 waiters to crowd around the table was extremely embarrassing explaining how our order was mixed up with another for take out. Completely unacceptable for an establishment to show this kind of service. The service was below standard and way over priced no discount was offered for the error only when we was paying the bill they took the cheapest item off which had minimal impact on the overall overpriced food. The quality of food was very bland from the food I did get to try however lacking a lot of authentic flavours.the onion bhajis were dry yet greasy. The chutneys seemed shop bought so that was a disappointing result also, overall I think this is the worst Indian restaurant I've visited so far.The reason I have given this review is not the fact the order was confused with another it was how it was handled. As a business this needs to be structured correctly for a business to succeed. I'm not sure how they have got so many good reviews as they have, as from what I experienced it was far from good. One of the worst parts of the evening, once the issue had been raised with the waiter/management they was rude to a whole new meaning. Every time they passed our booth they'd glare at us in the rudest manner. It was uncomfortable and distressing I hope they don't make any other customers feel like that as they pretty much ruined a lovely evening.
