The Walton Fox in South Ribble

Nice end to a bank holiday an evening out with our friends. Service was really good, polite and friendly and with a smile. Lovely food, hot and very tasty, however eggs on fish cakes weren’t runny. Would definitely come again.

I visited with my friend for Dinner on the 23rd of April, the pub was busy but we were greeted quickly and with a smile. We had booked a table and seated quickly too. The menu is quite limited but the food quality Is very good, my friend and I both had fish and chips which were perfectly cooked by Paul, James and Ross and presented well. Our waitress for the evening was Shyla who was friendly, professional and attentive without being intrusive. We had a good night and will return in the future

I’m really impressed by this venue. The service has been excellent. Georgia has been very attentive and the the food, I can’t fault any of it. It was creative and tasty. Luckily I’m staying near by so I can look forward to coming back tomorrow.

We have driven by many times, but called in yesterday, and loved it. There was a great welcome, everywhere looked clean and comfortable. A great choice of menu, and the food delicious. What more could we want. Well done, we will be back, and put it on our ‘regular’ list.

Everything about the pub was really nice. The beer was good, the service was quick and pleasant. The only thing was the food was just average for the price. I had fish and chips for £13.50 and to be honest It was a bit of your 2 for £10 kind of meal. The rest of my party really likes theirs which includes pork belly and fish cakes, hence the 4 stars.

Very good food the service was out standing I would recommend the scallops and king prawn starter as it was delicious

Good service all around by the team. Nice interior inside. Food quality generally good but not enough condiments provided and steak was more rare than medium rare. Would return.
