Prompt service, food was delicious. There was 5 of us, all having something different and we all got our food at the same time. Didn't book before hand.

I can't thank all the staff enough for the fantastic food and beer we have had. The chef is top notch and Roo and Co behind the bar are fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble and always a smile. Thank you for the wonderful birthday meal. If only there was a higher mark than 5*

In a word awful, tables with food left covering floor condements not wiped down and most of them empty couldn't get to bar to look at beers, people blocking the view, kitchen staff could learn some hygiene ( wiping plates with tea towels that they wear over there shoulder) use tobe a brilliant pub sorry to say won't be back.

In April I booked the whole outside area so that my sons local football team could celebrate a cup final. Around 70 people attended and over the day many of the families ordered food. Despite the kitchen being busy with all the food orders everything served was just right.The landlord was very supportive from initial booking all the way through to the actual day. The outside area provided plenty of room for everyone to relax.We will most definitely use this space again for something similar. Excellent service thank you. Highly recommend.

Good choice of real ales at the bar and food at a high standard. This explains why the pub is busy at times so worth booking a table in advance to avoid lack of availability. Pub has a nice beer garden to the rear with covered seating booths. Well worth visiting this excellent pub.

What an amazing pub, landlord was super nice, food was out of this world, best place in Leyland to eat hands down. Nothing was too much trouble. A definite to visit again. Highly recommended.

Great little pub. Seems very rustic inside. Menu is small but excellent choices. Not sat outside yet but heard good things about the pods.

Went for Sunday dinner and it was amazing. We had the beef dinner that only cost £8!!! There was plenty of meat, veg and potatoes. I could not finish there was that much. The staff are really friendly. Would highly recommend this place.

Limited menu which to be honest is the best thing at the moment. The food was truly delicious and amazing! Steak, gammon and a cheese pie. Absolutely to die for. I wanted to personally thank the kitchen team but there were quite a few around the bar. Well done all if the staff xxx 👏👏😍 ❤

The Stag is a wonderful pub, the service is super quick and friendly. It couldn’t be easier using the app to order. The outdoor seating is perfect for the unpredictable British weather. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and good food and drink!
