Blue Mango in St. Helens

We cannot wait to return here.....Excellent quality food, great prices, fabulous atmosphere and hosts, we went for the first time with our parents for mothers day treat on 26th March evening, had to wait 15mins for table to be prepared which was fine considering how busy the place was, we where allowed to order drinks and sit in the bar area whist waiting, extensive menu choice and staff coped really well and food served quickly on this mad busy evening 😀 highly recommend...

Been coming here for years and never disappoints. Gets very busy these days but service is always fast and food is top notch!

Amazing experience iv just had! I drove from kirkby to ordera take away curry "worth every mile and time" has soon has i walked in i was greated warmly and taken to where i could place my order.i was greated by a smart and friendly gentleman who took my order.i asked for small changes to my order which was not a problem at al. We had a friendly chat whilst ordering my food.i then got took into the lounge and told i could wait there for my food "about 15 minute" i ordered a small beer and was greeted with same friendliness from bar staff. The waiter even double checked my glass was clean.when my order came i got told not to rush and i could stay has long has i wanted. When i was leaving i got greeted farewell smiles from everybody.

Gone downhill since Bish left the place a couple of years ago. The foods ok but there are lots of better Indians not too far away in St Helen's. The staff however are excellent and really friendly. The mens toilets were shameful and needed cleaning and fixing.

I would love to like this place more and have tried eating here three times now. The poppadoms and dips are nice. But on our last visit the starters were poor really. Lamb chops very cheap cuts and all meals seemed a little prepared.Mains were OK and rice and naan was fine but curries quite mixed across our large party. I would also say the costs are a little above the quality delivered. Sorry guys. Not necessarily worth complaining about just not really worth a visit back.

Fantastic food, love the King Prawn anything and lamb dishes great too. Staff are really welcoming and friendly. A great place for a good night out xx Sorry we can't make it tonight because of illness.

Food quality is very good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Was really busy on our visit due to several birthday bashes being in at the same time! Even so they coped brilliantly and we were served quite quickly. Worth a visit if you're nearby!

Family catch up food excellent as was the service definitely recommend

Went last night for the first time. Will definitely be returning. Although slightly expensive, the food was beautiful the staff were really friendly. We must have met every member of staff all asking if our food was ok or if we needed any more drinks or compliments. We all felt really valued.The only fault I could find was my cocktail mix grill could have been a little hotter. Apart from that everybody loved everything. I would certainly recommend it.
