Just come away from this cafe absolutely appalled by the rudeness of 2 of the staff! Do they not read the reviews posted here or are they so rude and ignorant they think they are above them!! My elderly mum had gone to sit at a table as she has difficulty standing whilst I was in the queue. I waited over 10 minutes to be 2nd in the queue before my mum was very rudely told by a member of staff she had to move to let 2 other ladies sit down as they had been served. This was not done in a quiet friendly manner but a very loud intimidating voice causing people entering the Poundland shop opposite to stop to look at what the commotion was! I have been there many, many Saturdays and this situation has never happened. My mum was totally humiliated and mortified and got up to walk away struggling with her breathing. I asked the assistant serving if I could have a head office number and she proceeded to serve other people in the queue! Another member of staff (I assume the manager) had come to help me and was very nice, however the assistant who had told my mum to move kept interfering! I asked where the sign was saying not to sit down until food had been purchased but was still being constantly interrupted buy the very loud, intimidating assistant. Would have given zero stars if I was able to.

Called on my lunch hour for a quick !!!! Coffee and sandwich before nipping to the Bank what a mistake I made. Ordered a Festive Club sandwich and flat white extra salad and crisps on the side, got allocated a table and picked up my coffee sat at the table that was ringing wet after presumably being cleaned ? but not dried, I sat for over 15 mins waiting for the sandwich but noticed those who came after me getting Toasties, soup etc after another few minutes I asked if my sandwich was comingi got dirty looks and what can only be described as a luke warm bacon on toast with stuffing and cranberry sauce!!! I asked about the salad and crisps but got told by the girl here is the money for them and offered me 50p,I had to take the sandwich away as I was going to be late for work,as I walked past the cleaning area I assume the manager mattered something and said stop moaning you got your food. This experiance cost me over £7-50 first and last time I will ever visit this place, shocking service and customer Care.

Terrible coffee, boiled milk instead of frothing, mouth scolding hot, very sweet ( didn't use pump for syrup just poured it in) very rude to an elderly couple that sat at the wrong table (old lady struggled to stand), put their coffee on a different table and made them move despite the place being empty, would give zero star if I could, never again.

Yesterday was my first and I hope not the last one I go to this cafe , everything was perfect 🤩 we order a deal (coffee and muffin) and everything were delicious! The muffins was fresh and the coffee was also nice I ordered a cappuccino and I got a latte but I can’t complain because the coffee was really nice. Staff were so friendly and nice 😊 , tables were clean and tidy. It’s a good place to go and enjoy with friends and talk without interruptions ;) 100% John’s recommendations

Nice drinks but the sausage batch wasn't very good at all.

Reasonable prices, good cup of coffee and hot chocolate and nice hot sausage bap. Lots of seating and parasols for when the suns out! Only downside is that there’s only 2 highchairs available for the kids and the plates for the food could have done with a better clean.
