This place is a little rough round the edges, probably time that it had a refurb. Only had drinks & they were fine - although it’s not really something you can get wrong.Would I return? No.

It's okay, the dining area was cold and there was tinfoil in our food. The staff were helpful and friendly and the food was at the level you expect for standard pub chain - not great but not complainable for the price

We came recently early Feb for my adult sons birthday with a party of about 20 of mixed ages. They were able to reserve space for us and served the food more or less simultaneously despite being very busy. Food was delicious, staff very helpful and professional indeed.... even sang happy birthday! Would have been a 5* but for the pool table being ridiculously positioned. Thanks to Jaz, Amy, Liam, Meg, Kurtis and chefs Adam + Suzie.... take a bow guys 👏👏👏

Foods fairly good, staff are fantastic and really friendly. Nice and clean place. Decent play area for the kids outside with seating as well as the play centre. Been with my kids a couple of times now and will be going again.

Recently came here with my family, including my 3 year old niece. Overall, it was a very positive experience.Plenty of parking options and the place is easily accessible. We ordered food which came in a very reasonable time, and we all definitely got value for our money. We went into the Wacky Warehouse next door, mainly for my niece. It seems like a very family friendly place and a safe environment for young children.I think it would be better if there was some kind of front of house and someone to greet you upon arrival. Just for a bit of human touch. Also, if I'm being very picky, I found the menus a little bit confusing. We'll definitely be back though!

Very impressed. Friendly staff.Got the quadzilla burger which was amazing quality and value. I couldn't finish it and the staff gave me a take out box for the rest of the meal.Tesco vouchers are accepted here.Only thing that let it down mainly was the quality of the seats. Some of the padding on some chairs was ripped off. These chairs need to be upholstered.

I was tempted to pick here because it convenient on the East Lancs, but mainly because of their updated menu. Lucky for me, 17 family members were able to join me for a birthday meal and some of them are fussy eaters. The sheer variety on offer in the new menu gave me confidence everyone would find something they liked and have a good time, and I was right. On the day, the staff had a party in the conservatory, a party downstairs, and my lot to deal with, and they were fabulous. No need to pre order meals they said when I called to make the booking, which lead me to assume they would struggle to deliver all the meals at the same time, but I was wrong haha. Starters and mains all arrived for the whole group, no mistakes (even down to the preferred cooking of our steaks), and the food was very nice. On top of all that, the staff were friendly and approachable, even though clearly rushed off their feet. Plus, I fed all of us both courses for just over 200 quid! Oh yeah, and they turned all the lights off to sing happy birthday for me when they brought my cake (not sure why there is a picture of a male supermodel on it though 😂). Well done Game Bird, anyone thinking of going here will not regret it in my opinion 👍

Was ok . The food was what you expect for a hungry horse although my meal wasn't very nice as it was over cooked and the chips were over spiced . Great place for kids as it had screens with cbeebies at the booths a good kids menu and an ice cream bar. But the pub as a whole does need a good lick of paint and a bit of a refurb

I have a bad experience on boxingday. The staff is nonprofesional.I have a reservation online for 4 persons at16 30,coming wi direct to the table and complete forgot about us. After 1 hour comes with only 2 starter, after nearly 3 hours (what is a lot for a meal and the restaurant wasn't very busy)coming with the cheek and asked to pay for full service. After I complain the barman taking 2 starter off. The food was excellent, the management needs urgently to improve another way they lose lots of costumers
