Maria's Plaice in St. Helens

Portion sizes are terrible. I got a large chips and it was a handful in a rectangular container, even if this was the regular size by mistake it was barely enough. Poor. Curry sauce just didn't have much curry taste to it. Not trying to slate on purpose but I won't be coming back. Walked all the way to this chippy and it was overall disappointment. Just avoid. Go to the chipmunk down the road it can't get worse than this.

Food is amazing really tasty always on time and nice and hot. Friendly staf, I will always use this for delivery best chippie in st Helens.

If I wanted microwave Kabab I would of went farm foods charging 6.50 for micro wave Kabab is a disgrace No where near as nice as chipmunk

Best fish and chips shop in st Helen's they serve loads of different foods, staff very friendly and helpful, recommendations highly you won't be disappointed.

This is a great traditional little chippy that serves not only fish, chips and mushy peas, but it sells kebabs and pizzas also. They also deliver locally. A great Plaice!

I personally never ate here. I went with my grandad to get some fish, chips and mushy peas for my gran. The pizzas looked absolutely mouth watering! I reccomend here!

Well what shall I say disappointment isn't the word ripped off definitely over 10 pounds for this i wont be back

Been coming here 1 night a week for weeks now, supporting local business and all that, never again after tonight. Ordered 2 large chip barms with other things and after the nice young girl (who has served me well for weeks) finished putting chips in the carton, her boss started scooping them back out with her hands right in front of me, I’m left with 2 small chop barms after paying for large. I’ve got no time for businesses who can’t treat there customers right, finished with this place!

We had a large order, but veg spring rolls were awful, no colour to them, very glupy to taste, hardly any cheese on the cheesey chips

The manager is rude and doesn't like people complaining about there food, being going here since we moved to Thatto Heath, my partner loved there chips cheese and curry sauce, found a hair in it once and complained and the manager was rude then and didn't like us complaining, we gave it another chance as places do make mistakes its normal, ordered yesterday and we found mould in the cheese! Have pictures and proof of it and told the manager again and she was so so rude! Asked for a refund and she wanted us pick it up so we asked her come get the food because we didn't want it, but she told us "if you dont like my food then dont order from us" kept trying to blame to potatoes, blocked my partner on facebook when we tried messaging about it so I had to do it and once again was rude. Then turned up at my door and said "give me my food back" with a refund kicking off at me. Worst customer service ever, the manager is a absolute joke doesn't know respect at all, only to the people who don't complained. Would not order from here guys, wouldn't mind I was even nice on the phone explaining no apology or nothing at the fact my partner probably ate some of the mould before even realising just pure rude to me about it. Would avoid going here if you dont want to be eating mould.
