Visited the mickle head for a family birthday meal. We were easily able to book a reservation for a party of 9. The family all arrived at different times and were directed to the table. There is a very large carpark located outside including disabled parking spots. There is also a beer garden located outside, this will be lovely for the summer time. The staff were so friendly and happy to help us. One member even say down with our family whilst taking the food order. They were willing to laugh with us too. There is a large variety to choose from on the menu including some vegan options. The food was absolutely lovely once it arrived.I will definitely be visiting again in the future!

One of the worst breakfast I have ever been served!! As a family we have always enjoyed breakfast at Micklehead Green. However, today we arrive at 9:30 - me, my husband and 2 children. We was informed it was busy and would be a wait for the cooked breakfast but we could help our selves to the continental (understandable on a Saturday morning)Most of the continental was empty and we had to ask for, the coffee machine broke twice, there was no plates or glasses. Each time needing to ask for assistance.Me and my husband then was served our cooked breakfast, the bacon (and husbands sausage) was undercooked, the mushrooms was cold, didn't get black pudding I asked for, hubby only got half serving of beans, and the poached eggs were hard boiled. The 2 staff serving really was trying their best, and appeared very stretched

Excellent food, caring staff and all round fantastic atmosphere. Went for a birthday meal and one of our party was on call so did not make it in the end. Which was relayed to staff and they understood, would highly recommend for any occasion. Steak was cooked perfectly.

One of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. Food turned up after about 70 minutes. Burger was burnt and looked absolutely nothing like the ones pictured on the menu. Everybody's food was just pure disappointment on a plate.Staff actually seemed embarissed and were very apologetic but the damage was done. Can only blame myself for eating here.

Ate hear tonight, nice atmosphere staff friendly however ordered the turf and surf combo at £20 and largely disappointed with the meal. The steak was not very warm as were the breaded mushrooms. The surf consisted if 2 prawns and generally did not constitute a £20 meal imo. Staff offered a free beer which I declined.

We stayed overnight at the Premier after travelling from Essex to meet our new family member. It was a Saturday so expected more business, but once seated had to wait over an hour for our food, which when it arrived was almost inedible. I must stress that all of the staff were very professional and friendly and it was at no point their fault. We commented on the poor food and no charge was made, the problem seemed to be a lack of staff on duty.We would like to especially thank John who was presumably the manager on shift that evening, he was fantastic and a credit to the company.

Went for all you can eat breakfast. Not buffet, but cooked per order. Food is of ok quality, black pudding was good. Continental elements good choice. Tea coffee and fruit juice, no hot chocolate. Staff very pleasant.

As part of a table of 14 we was happy when all our food came out at the same time and all hot. I ordered their version of the "hunters chicken"' I've had better, it wasn't bad, just not the best. Menu was out of stock of some items but there was a note explaining that so you didn't get all excited for a fillet steak only to be told there wasn't any which I think is a great idea. Had the black forest Sunday for desert. It was amazing! Staff friendly and efficient. Toilets clean. Overall a nice evening out.

Went for a last minute birthday meal, staff was lovely and accommodating. Had a prawn cocktail for starters followed by steak for main. The steak was lovely and full of flavour. Followed by triple chocolate brownies with ice cream for dessert which was delicious and very chocolatey
