Mr Chans in St. Helens

Definitely the best Chinese restaurant around. The food is always amazing and freshly prepared, the menu has a wide variety and the staff are always really friendly and look after you.

I'm a serious FOODIE.....Look at my previous reviews.I was greeted by friendly, polite and helpful staff.My order was packaged in environmentaly friendly, recyclable materials, nice touch.Vermicelli Singapore noodles - lovely balance of flavours and seasoning, fine noodles with chicken, onion, prawns, char-siu pork, egg, peppers (capsicum) tasty, not too greasy but did have a slight chalky texture.Hot Chilli Chicken and Sezuan Chicken-unable to determine between the two unfortunately.The sauce / gravy tasting the same;- one had chicken, a couple of mange tout, onions, scallions of carrot and a couple of oyster mushroom (slices).- the other chicken, green pepper slices, onions, carrot matchsticks.Both mildly spicy but salty, msg? Or other flavour enhancers?Fairly good but....Not the cheapest prices and the food quality doesn't justify or reflect the quality.

Have ordered a couple of times for delivery and cannot fault the food, especially the options for someone who doesn't eat meat, orders have consistently arrived on time and interactions with the restaurant and delivery drivers have always been really positive. Definitely the best Chinese food I have had in St Helens!

Fantastic service, fabulous food and lovely staff. Been here loads of times for takeaways and sitting in. Owner, Mr Chan is lovely person too, always has time for the diners. 10/10 Highly recommended

Superb atmosphere, lovely welcome and thoughtful staff throughout our dining.I've heard about this place and everyone always raved about it, but ild never been. Why did I wait so long.Was out for my mums 70th this evening with the family. The owner several times came over to us, asking how we were and if everything was OK or if we needed anything. Staff were efficient and pleasant.Would highly recommend to anyone.Thank you for a lovely evening

Best Chinese food I've had in a long time! Friendly, attentive service and the new bar area will be great for pre or after meal drinks. Will definitely be back here!
