Great range of products, plants look healthy. Rather expensive compared with nursery prices. Very commercialised now, remember it as a much smaller garden centre many years ago.

Like most garden centres it more a out of town shopping centre..which ok if thats what you want..Met a friend there and went for lunch an coffee..All we wanted was a sandwich but at 7.95 for a egg mayo sandwich is over the top ..no salad..basically a square sandwich cut in half on a long plate..it looked lost !platter..nothing else..

Nice cafe, lovely staff. Meals a bit pricey, but delicious. Plants are too expensive though!!

Very good food. I had the chilli and rice. My friend had the fish and chips, she said it was the best fish she had tasted. The staff were really friendly. Grest place to shop to. Would highly recommend.

When it was Rivendells, this place was amazing. (OK, full of non-gardening franchises selling expensive tat .....but you have to expect that unfortunately these days and don't need to buy from them). Gardeningwise, they always had a good selection of decent quality plants at reasonable prices . However, their biggest asset was undoubtedly their restaurant which always had a wonderful daily display of delicious food, at fair prices and was run by helpful staff who went to great lengths to serve your food exactly how you wanted it. People used to start queuing 20-30 minutes before the place opened it was that popular. We don't live in the area now and were very disappointed recently to call in and find that, along with the name, everything had changed. Everything is now ridiculously expensive and the old restaurant has been replaced by something resembling a fast food chain. We were told that what we asked for from the menu board was not available, so we left, bought nothing, and will not be coming back. From what I see on this review board, we are not the only ones upset by this 'modernisation'. If I could give them NO stars, I would. Moral of the story- 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it !!'

It's like Ikea with one path and seems like once you're in they don't want you to leave. This is especially irritating if you only want to visit the outside plant section. Used to be a lovely place to visit before the pathway redesign.

We called in today for breakfast and was served by Jackie and Julie - what an absolute breath of fresh air. So friendly and jolly. Made for an even better experience. Thank you

Took our autistic son to see the singing reindeers today 28th December but they had been switched off ...why so soon? There are afterall 12 days of Christmas! Went into the cafe and stood in a short queue for 25 minutes. No urgency whatsoever to get people served quickly. Two stars are for the christmas crackers we got half price albeit too late for this year but we couldnt find them anywhere else before Christmas.

Used to be a fabulous garden centre especially around Christmas with open nights, awsome decorations especially the outdoor lights and a fabulous atmosphere. Sadly that has all gone and the decorations are just bog standard. The loyalty card also used to get you free meals and free brews plus 10% off in store. The scheme has now ended for the cafe.I much prefer the one just up the road, there displays are far better. So sad.

Lovely garden centre and great cafe, lots of choice, friendly staff, can be quite expensive, but if you sign up and pay £12 a year you get 10% off in the garden centre plus various offers and freebies through the year. Well worth a visit
