Rainford Charcoal Grill in St. Helens

Since the new owners have taken over the Charcoal Grill I've never had a poor experience with the food, very high quality and always tastes great!

We ordered half and half pizza. We got all vegetarian. Not to much of a problem. We phoned to explain and were told oops. That’s it. If I could offer a minus star I would. Please go to somewhere else that is exactly what we will be doing from now on. And the pizza isn’t that great

Unreal food, probably the best I’ve ate from the staff are lovely. I will definitely be returning

I usually order the BBQ supreme pizza but lately the quality has gone down, hardly any BBQ flavour and the last time I was told it would be an hour, 1 hour 20 minutes later I was given a poor excuse and told it was ready but would be another 15 minutes, no apology, and no mention of reducing the bill or adding an extra, which is what has happened before in other places, it will be a while before I will be ordering from there again.

Been coming here for years food is usually really nice and we would travel from winstanley because it was our favourite takeaway recently the food has gone downhill and I have noticed a massive increase in price I understand business need to increase prices every so often but it seems very steep I think we will look else where for our takeaway big disappointment as we loved ordering from here 😩

Ordered Special kebab and the Doner meat underneath was dried up (obviously previous nights) not even edible so I ate the rest and have now got an upset stomach today and that was the only thing I’d had to eat yesterday. I wouldn’t have fed that doner meat to a dog let alone serve it up in a box even if it was getting covered up by other things to hide it but just shows you the level of esteem you hold paying customers.I won’t be using you again that’s for sure.

Used to be great value for money but now the portion size in the special kebab has seriously reduced ordered the other day and they even forgot our chips and as it was to far to go back just did without it's a shame really the portions aren't the size as they used to be as was one of my favourite places to eat

This is the only authentic kebab place I know of in the area. Unfortunately, they don't deliver to Billinge anymore but the food is more than worth the journey to go and pick up myself. Lovely kebabs. Portion sizes could perhaps be a little bigger for the prices but that's nit-picking.

Very nice kebab, one of the best I have tasted in the St Helens area. Great to see it also has a 5 star for food hygiene. Yes it's more expensive than most but the quality is better than most.
