Just called in here for the first time while driving past. The staff was welcoming from first entrance and very helpful. The food was beautiful and defeated us all as the portions were massive, home cooked food at its best.We will definitely be calling again now we have found this place. Thank you for the service from start to finish it was A*

Really good well done chef 👍 A refreshing change to have to wait a short while for your food to arrive. Tells me it's not a warm up but made from scratch.

Visited here today with my partner. We both got the gammon and wow! It was cooked perfectly with chunky home made chips. To die for. Will definitely be going back

Went with family for a Friday lunch. Got in early so was pretty quiet but filled up a bit as we were waiting. Staff very pleasant & accommodating. One of our party needed to leave early for work so they brought her food before the rest of us which was very helpful. Food was very good all round. 6 of us all chose different meals & everyone very pleased with choice, quality & portion size. Only thing that lets this place down is the interior. Blimey, it is drab. Very gloomy & tired-looking and desperately in need of a refresh. Really drags down the overall experience which otherwise was excellent. Can highly recommend the food & service but won't be going again until they invest in some new carpets & furniture and splash the paint a bit.

Stopped off for a cold drink on a hot Saturday. No problem finding a great seat outside, really friendly staff and a great relaxed atmosphere. Drinks were perfectly served and really hit the mark. The only problem was that we wanted to stay for a few more - just the post lockdown experience you need. Well worth a visit.
