Spicy Balti in St. Helens

The food was having no taste at all , no salt and feels like the potato chips were old, worst experience ever , it’s a wanna be Indian restaurant.

I have paid for the food and the delivery driver came 30mins earlier than expected. When asked about a redelivery he said he won’t deliver it again. Tried ringing the Spicy balti and none of the staffs were helpful and said they won’t deliver it again. WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!

Quality was okay for a takeaway. But all a bit bland to my taste. Lovely staff

Sent the wrong food, then when we called to request the right one be sent. We were asked if we “could manage” with what we hadAnd also told that they HAD sent the right food, when they without a doubt had not.Shocking.

The boss has a bad attitude and the food I ordered and ate mate me very ill. I've been eating Indian for years and never tasted anything so disgusting in all my life. Tasted like packet mix. Poppadoms always burnt when I have ordered. And chicken its full of fat and tasteless. Stay away from here unless u want food poisoning it's awful

Been using this place for quite a while. Food is usually good. I ordered through their website. I ordered before they opened and added a note that I would pick up at 8.30pm. They obviously didnt read that bit. I would definitely say that the food had been sat for at least an hour somewhere warm. Everything was luke warm and dried out. If I was in a restaurant I would of sent it all back. Dont suppose that the owners will care but I wont be going back.

Very tasty food, my meal was cooked to perfection, just the right heat, as requested. Everything I ordered was perfect 👌

Sorry but this is so far from the standard I expect when I order food. 2 1/2hrs before my food arrived is unacceptable. What makes it worse is the poor excuses e.g We tried to deliver are just wrong. And when that failed the most honest excuse that there was not enough driver's.What you dont do is continually tell the client the food will be delivered in 15 mins because that is just commercially wrong.I will not use your service again solely because of the lack of honest communication, and then trying to use slopey shoulders and place blame on the customer.

This is the worst Indian I have been I. My life and was very disgusted? Set meal for 1 and got nothing but mushrooms as a start and they tasted like they been in that tub for 6 munth the chicken was that burnt it was rock solid and the chips was dryer than my feet and to top it off the tikka tasted like nothing I’ve tasted before didn’t Evan taste like chicken! Very very bad place I’d stay well away from here!!!!!

This is our favourite local Indian. Food is spot on and most importantly it's consistently good. Most Indian takeaways I've used have been good some days and poor others but not these guys. Menu is reasonably priced and plenty of choice.
