Me and my partner have just visited this place. The atmosphere with the football on was good and the staff was friendly. However when it came to the food. The waiting was about 40mins but we forgave that with it being busy. Eventually when the food came it got worse. My partner order a mixed grill and it was almost stone cold and no taste to any of it. My food was the new sizzler steak £13 and was disappointing. No taste, the baked beans wasn't a good combination and the eggs were raw. We got refunds and apologises off a manager but we won't be eating here again. For drinks, games or social gatherings this place is perfect but to eat in. Go somewhere else.

Location lovely and nice and clean inside. I ordered the vegetarian sausage butty off the breakfast menu. The only criticism I would have was the sausages were a bit on the hard side. Would def go there again and try off the main menu

Called in for coffee. Huge lovely pub, pity its got one single coffee machine. Busy wen we went so queued to get coffee. Poor planning considering the size of the pub. Food not that great either

Used Tesco vouchers and ordered 12oz steak with an extra 12oz on top. My son got an 8oz.The two 12oz were thin and grey looking and tasted of nothing. In fact, I couldn’t put my finger on what it tasted like. I love steak and always eat it when I’m out but this wasn’t good. The pepper sauce was vile. Seriously horrible with a funny taint to the taste. I won’t fuss, I’ll just get mustard. They had no English mustard (ran out days ago). Really??? Just get to the Aldi and buy a few jars while you wait for your order. The 8oz my son had was twice the thickness and looked (looked) much better. How the cuts of the same type of steak could be so different I just don’t know. Had I have known my 12oz would be thin, I wouldn’t have ordered it (I like it pink in the middle). I should’ve said something but as I used ā€˜free’ Tesco vouchers, I didn’t want to appear to be a crank. I just thought we’d write that one off and say nothing as we’d essentially got it free. But that’s not the worst of it.Both my son and I became sick within 24 hours of eating there (stomach cramps, nausea, sweating). We hadn’t eaten anything since the pub meal before getting sick. Two things to learn. If I get something else that’s ever less than enjoyable (vouchers or not), I won’t care who thinks I’m a crank, it’s going back. And two, don’t go back to The Glass Horse.

We ordered two standard Sunday lunches on Sun 6th Feb. Very dissapointing, not the standard they used to have. The vegetable portion was very small and the carrots dry at the edges. The roast potatoes were frozen and oven baked ones dry and powdery in texture and the lady we ordered from said tha there was breast of chicken on the lunch , it was 2 pieces of processed breast not on the bone as expected. This order was very poor standard. Avoqvoid this one. We left most of our lunch on the platešŸ˜”šŸ˜”šŸ˜”

We were in the area and stopped for a meal, it was delivered to the table quite quickly and was piping hot. Very reasonably priced. It wasn't too busy but there are plenty of tables and different seating areas both indoors and out. The children are kept entertained with a playground at the front of the building which is well fenced in and safe, the whole place is bright and spacious. The toilets are downstairs and easily accessible. We would definitely call in again if in the area

Fantastic meal with family and friends. The place is friendly, lively and lovely and clean. The kids with us loved the outdoor play area. Although it was a bit too cold and dark for them to take full advantage today they will be back.

Food is hit and miss dependant on what you order. Avoid the hunters chicken, but fish and chips and pies are all good. Very clean when we went and service was good. Using the app is a good idea, especially for ordering food when the bar is busy.

It was a good time and the food was great and we had a great time, and the kids were happy and the play area was good, I would go back again šŸ˜€

If I could choose zero stars I would...ordered our food at 6:33pm...got it at around 7:45pm, after almost everyone we went with had already eaten and was ready to leave...no apologises just we're busy, even though table after table came and went...we was told approx a 30minute wait...nowhere near! Anyway food eventually came and it was absolutely vile! Seriously vile...plus it was incorrect, they sent rice instead of corn on the cob and southern fried chicken instead of roast chicken...but questioned me when I said it was wrong! I honestly am not too fussy me, look at every review I have done on google..all 4 or more stars...but this place...nope...will never return and would deffinately not recommend! I spent £41 there tonight...I feel gutted!
