The Hayloft hmmmm well it has so many different seasonal personalities it's a hard place to tie down. I find that the most inviting time visit is when I forage for pumpkins with my children. Having worked up an appetite for the food journey that awaits you just like the small steam train outside you are expecting some fun along the way. The place itself has a new modern feel and my first impressions were that I would be in for a menu worthy of this cafe vibe. I was very sadly disappointed as it was a menu happy with its mediocrity and it's willingness to remain so. Sometimes in our life's our expectations are blunted when we unwrap a beautiful wrapping on a present and see the promise off what's inside the wrapping paper only to be left with an IOU. In this case flavour.I'm sure there is more to come from the Hayloft it feels as though the chef needs to fall in love with there food again so a romance from each course can blossom.....🙏💜

Amazing venue, lovely surrounding and the staff were really helpful. My nephews 1st birthday was in one of the best venues. Car park on site and secure. It was lovely to see animals and play area ideal for young children to enjoy and learn.

Farm itself is great but the cafe let's this place down. Long waits and very small portions for the price. Pumpkin picking here is fantastic 🎃

Recently we had the privilege of filming a wedding here. The staff were really lovely and even supplied us gorgeous food. The venue, is amazing for children and families as there lots of animals. Also beautiful sunset views. Lots of opportunities for filming and photographs. They even provided a tractor in the evening and let the bride have a go. Was such a lovely wedding. Would recommend this as a venue.Great Day Films

WOW! The Hayloft is a truly magical venue and we couldn't have wished for a better place to have our special day. The rustic look and feel is what we were after and we got it in abundance! Lesley and the team were incredible in making sure our day run smoothly and nothing was any trouble to them. The food and service was exceptional. All our family and friends were amazed by the place and the added personal touches by the team there. Anyone looking for a wedding venue, please take a look, you won't be disappointed! There's also the added bonus of the animals and play area for children, plenty of parking and great views across the countryside. Thank you all so much for making our day so special.

Will not be returning. The cheese and tomato sandwich was awful cheap grated pre packed cheese, the bread was fresh but thick with butter. The scone was just so dry and had no taste to it, certainly not freshly baked. The whole experience was awful, the place where I was put to sit with a baby in the buggy and waiters constantly walking past with trays of drinks. The waitress making a comment when she brought my order then the awful awful food.

Great afternoon out pumpkin picking. Kids loved it. There's a maize maze to walk around along with a cafe and playground onsite (although this was shut). Recommend going early in the day or after 3pm we went just after lunch and queued for 30/40 minutes waiting to park.

We loved it! Staff were very helpful + friendly. We went for pumpkin picking + had a fab time. Lots to choose from. It was incredibly muddy in some areas so dress accordingly - wellies or boots are a must 😉 plenty of parking. Highly recommend.

Always a pleasure coming here. Friendly staff & lots to see & do for all ages! Prices are a little steep but it is really nice for a treat. It would be nice to see some food favourites here such as full English breakfasts, big plate dinners etc. Friendly staff, safe distancing, outdoor seating plus weather protected area, children's play area, small farm animals. Miniature steam train rides. Pumpkin picking & field maze. Seasonal activities for all. Wheel chair accessible.
