The Oriental in St. Helens

We have been using this chinese happily for ages ..just rang up and our usual order has go up about 4 quid ..apparently you get charged now for fried rice and not just 80p extra..just chips come with it ...who wants a chinese meal with just chips ..🙄

Rip off!!!Menu online says you get rice or chips with main meals.. You. Dont.. So extra 3 quid...So main. Meals are a tenner basically..I'll stick to the tasty corner down the road whose.foods spot and prices are reasonable

Good Chinese restaurants, nice food, they do deliver for a small cost. If you have to go to the shop, you may have problems in parking but, it's worth the trouble. The price is also right. Recommend.

First time on ordering and definitely the last chips been reheated at least 3 times and all food arrived cold and only live a 2 minite walk away salt an pepper chicken was just reheated chicken no flavour went in bin exept prawn crackers they was nice

Good food. Clean take away. My fave being the Singapore vermicelli !! Spot on. Or chicken curry half chips half rice. Can’t go wrong.

11 years been using the Oriental. We've moves 2 addresses and still keep ordering from them. Absolutely love the food as in no disappointment through the years, good service from them. Highly recommended!

Bought sweet and sour chicken with rice and it tasted delicious, the chicken was cooked very well and the salt and pepper was spicy but not too spicy, would definitely order here again. Great food and services

Awful chips, they were cooked at least 3 times! Rice was ok and curry and the s&p chicken was good! Won’t visit again due to it being a chippy that can’t cook chips!

this takeaway has a few comfy chairs to wait on. ghe food is great and well cooked and the staff are friendly even the chef has a smile when he brings the order through.so this is my new fave and is quite a bit cheaper than any other takeaway in at helens.
