The pint was nice. The young girl serving was really pleasant and made you feel so welcome

·

Best pub in st.helens and staff and owners are amazing

·

Unfortunately a great supplier of prospect ales, with little to no endeavour to enforce Covid-19 rules and regulations...So, enjoy a great beer here, then become a Covid-19 spreader! 🤬Only half of clients are socially distancing and wearing masks, and sadly, staff are no better.A good pub and great Covid-19 spreader. If you've been vaccinated and want to test its durability, go for a pint here!If you want to ensure the safety of yourself and those nearest and dearest to you, please, go elsewhere!

Lovely outdoor space.Staff were great.

·

They have made it a great place to have a drink outside in the rear garden, some parts covered and some open, lots of nice young staff who go out of there way to assist in looking after you suppling drinks and real ale (thats mine being a Camra member) and all at a good price all at your table, covid safety is a priority on entering, scan qr code or sign in, top marks to the Talbot management and staff, duke st , St Helens,

Where has this pub been hiding over the years? Excellent choice of real ales and comfort with continuing improvements. Turks and Cricketers eat your heart out.
