The Tasty Corner in St. Helens

Really nice fish and chips, first time I've tried the fish bites. Deffo recommend these instead of a fish. Melt in the mouth, loads of vinegar. 👍

Call in on the odd occasion for my sons tea on dad day, he always enjoys it and I always order large chips so I can make a chip butty.

Must be the best chippy in St. Helens. I’ve never seen so many people queue for a chippy. The portion sizes are really good, price is reasonable, staff are friendly and they do a host of other food other than chips. Definitely recommend this place!

Lovely staff. Great fish and chips. Cash only but totally willing to prepare your order whilst you go to the nearby cash machine and well worth that very minor inconvenience for such good quality food !

Busy fish and chip shop, also doing great western style Chinese menu, kebabs, burgers etc.Very good, very fresh fish and chips that I'm prepared to travel for now I'm not local. Service is fast, professional and friendly. Highlight has to be the savouries (battered minted fish cake ball) which are found in fewer and fewer places these days. Try one, trust me they're awesome.Only downsides, parking can be a bit hit and miss at busy times and it's cash only, no contactless.

The fish n chips is fantastic,i don't really love fish and chips but when i do i make sure i get it from the tasty corner in st Helens, lovely staff too !

What a fantastic chippy! But they don't just make the tastiest fish, with light batter and big chips to go with it, they also have a big menu of food including Chinese they have kebabs and some really good ideas for a lunch or dinner time meal, they have an offer either chicken or beef then you choose the meal blackbean sauce was one but many more with rice or chips for £4. I think it might be a slightly smaller version all in one tray so no mixing or plates needed perhaps. If so what a good idea. Staff are hard working and nice.Cash Only......No cards sorry.They have a process in place to keep us safe but don't forget your mask.

A proper fish n chip shop, with great tasting fish n chips, but a lot more choice on the menu; From meat pie, to Kebabs to Chinese. Kids "box" meals for the little ones.We made a 40 minute round trip to get a kebab, they're that good!Parking is on street.
