Got a mixed grill you could not chew the meat not very good but the dogs loved it.

15/12/2021.just ordered special omelette with chips,2 chop suey rolls,bbq spare ribs and a tub of curry sauce...I can honestly say this is the best food i have ever had from a takeaway..Absolutely spot on..thankyou

I haven't used welcome for a while as it went a bit down hill.. Tried it again last week and it was so nice that I had to go again this week. The salt and pepper squid and Singapore chowmein are so nice... Seems it has gone back to the quality of 1997/98 😋

Normally quite decent food. Tonight however, was absolutely disgusted by the salt and pepper chicken. It was as if frozen chicken nuggets had been placed into a deep fryer but not for long enough. Let other family members try and all said it wasn’t cooked properly.Called to complain and the owner said to send it back and she would refund it. Sent my grandson to take it back and the woman had the audacity to tell him that she was only refunding £3 as half of it was gone!!!!Absolute cheek. Will certainly not be going there again and would definitely not recommend to anyone. Do not buy salt and pepper chicken from here unless you like rubber like chicken that squeaks when you bite into it.Only gave 1 star as it wouldn’t let me give zero.

Welcome Fish & Chips must be about the Best Takeaway shop in the North West if not also in the UK for Delicious English and Chinese food for the quality, variety and quantity of portions at I'd believe the best value in comparison to all other Takeaways, and all the Staff are so friendly and always serve with a lovely genuine smile on their faces all the time. I'd definitely recommend anyone to go and pay Welcome Fish & Chips a visit to try them out for yourself! :-)

Great value and fantastic food. Never been disappointed, they are always busy which says it all really. Our go to Chinese takeaway.

First time to try this local takeaway, nice food, service and fast delivery BUT, The most salty inedible seaweed we have ever had.....!!!and, sweet n sour sauce seemed synthetic and very thin consistency, otherwise a nice meal, would use them again .

I don't normally leave below average reviews. However, this shop has changed owners more than 5 times in the last few years. The quality has been all varieties of good, bad, and indifferent. I've see this place looking great, tasting excellent and clean. I've also seen it looking like it hadn't been cleaned for a while, and the food tasting reheated and off. My latest try of their food will be my last. Chips were not pleasant, uncooked, and the chicken in salt and pepper chicken also tasted uncooked. Not willing to risk being ill, there are many alternatives in the area which have lasted the tests of time.

Huh..... Massive portions, freshly made fish and chips, and really good Chinese dishes, and friendly staff. This was my first try, and I really don't know why did I wait that long. Can't recommend enough!

We only started using this chippy about 18 months ago after it was recommended and was massively impressed with the value for money and quality. Great chips (big portion too), I loved the Spring Rolls and the Fish Cakes were big and as they were battered were different from your usual chippy ones . Massive portion of lovely Fried Rice too when ordered.Then a month or so ago we ordered for delivery, which took a lot longer than usual and when the usual driver turned up (great guy) he apologised for the delay and said new owners had taken over that night. Well, the food was not great! Fried Rice was bland and under done, the Fish Cake was a cheap one and the Spring Rolls were tasteless. Most ended up in the bin.Last night partner decided to pop in and try again - the place was empty which in not usual. She got Chips, Fried Rice, Gravy and Some Chicken thing - all were terrible and again ended up in the bin.So sad that the place has massively nosedived with new owners.
