Charlies Takeaway in Stockport

Not ordered from here for a while. It has definitely gone down hill . The kebab Calzone was greasier than my grandads bril creamed hair..it was overpowered with garlic and hardly any meat or onions, and no tomatoe sauce that you would expect on a pizza base..i threw the lot in the bin. The chips were like warmed up not fresh. The kebab doner meat was again way too greasy . My son liked his 1/2 lb cheese burger so that is something , but the rest was inedible . The free garlic bread was the best thing. So in all 29 quid down the drain I will never order from here again .The staff are friendly so they got 1 star for that and 1 star for my sons burger . I actually feel sick from the grease . Maybe all the good reviews are from drunk people from the pub over the way, or they have never eaten decent takaway food before.

Meat and salad fresh. The chicken is nice but they should really change the wording of the ‘fresh Naan’. This is 100% packet Nan warmed up. I’ve seen the guy take it out of the packet and warm it up on the top. Considering the price I would expect fresh naan as it is quite expensive for what you get.

Been here a few times especially after a late work shift. Had a chicken kebab with salad. Enjoyable

Ordered for the first time at 17:02. I can understand it can be busy or whatever it is. But I’m supposed to wait 45-50 minutes for soggy chips, soggy garlic bread and chicken pita and none of it is hot? At least deliver my food hot, if I have to wait that long. We’re able to heat up the garlic bread in the oven and the rest wasn’t edible. All for the bin. Never ordering ordering food online again. Just so disappointed...

Ordered Kebabs, pizza and chips. All arrived within a really good time considering it was New Years Eve and they were busy. Food arrived hot and was really tasty. Very friendly staff and great service.
