Cheadle Royal Table Table in Stockport

Held my uncles 70th birthday dinner here last night & honestly Kath couldn’t do enough for us - she even offered to make my Mum a cup of tea when she was getting a bit tired & wasn’t feeling too good before we left. The service was second to none & all the service staff were great too. To say we were a table of over 20 people that hadn’t seen one another in a while & who’s first family get together it was since the pandemic started and therefore a bit exuberant 😂 - they did brilliantly at keeping the mood going & serving our food & drinks and Caitlyn was also really, really lovely. Thank you for going above & beyond and making the evening perfect Kath & Caitlyn & the rest of the team at the Cheadle Royal! x

I took my mum and my 2 best friends for my mum's 81st birthday at lunch. Apart from us there was only another table of 4 in the pub. We sat on the table in a quiet area next to a radiator that wasn't on. Firstly it took 20 minutes to order a drink and then three was no Brandy, 10 mins later we were asked if we would like lemon or lime in our drinks. We ordered 2 Gamon, 2 steak and ale pie and I ordered the fish pie. When they came there was alot of fat on the gamon, my mum's pie was tasteless and my fish pie was warm at the sides but cold in the middle. I sent it back.

Booked a table for mothers day for 4.30 we arrived and got told there's 20 min wait 40 mins later and finally got a table then waited 30 mins to order we placed are order waited another 25 mins then to be told food will be another 30 mins very slow wouldn't be returning again

Lovely pub, with lovely staff. Jo & Pete are very attentive, making you feel welcome. I've been a couple times now for Breakfast and not been disappointed. If I lived in the area I would definitely be a regular. The prices are really good as well. Keep up the good work.

Surely the only reason you'd eat here is if you were staying at the Premier Inn next door, cos they don't have a restaurant. But after visiting it once, you probably wouldn't bother again. We ate here 17/10/21 and had the scampi and chips. Hard to put into words how bad it was. Imagine a mixture of hospital food and prison food, prepared by a 'chef' who was working his last shift..... 🤢

Very clean, excellent helpings of delicious food, fairly priced and service top class. Will definately be back and can certainly recommend. It was a cold day so perhaps the very cool air- conditioning could be turned down.

Katie our server was very friendly and helpful, she knew everything on the menu and gave us some excellent suggestions. The food was really good and good portions, excellent selection and value for money for the children. The restaurant was really nicely decorated, very clean and uncluttered. It was a nice place to eat when we were staying in the premier Inn next door.

Staying at the attached Premier Inn with family during house renovations. Came for breakfast on reopening, after having watched them spend the weeks leading up to it doing maintenance and cleaning everything. Very clean and tidy inside.Breakfast was great. Good fry up and selection of fruits, cereals and yoghurts. Coffee good too. And the measure of any hotel breakfast, fantastic croissants which came hot from the oven!Joanne who served us was great,very friendly and attentive. Was lovely when serving my young children too. Very slow service. Forty minutes wait just to get loaded nachos as a starter. A vegan burger option, on the menu, but generally a limited set of vegetarian options. Missed the only side order of the meal.for four. Music not too loud so can you can have a conversation. Staff were very good and apologetic about delay and service mix up, and made a good deduction
