Chickadees in Stockport

Was the best chicken takeaway around a few years ago - sadly gone downhill, and prices have skyrocketed alongside this. Rude customer service - I called to ask what time they shut - ‘we close in 5 minutes’ and hung up very abruptly. We were very regular customers now we choose one of the many better options in the area

Food is okay but the restaurant is not clean at all.. toilets are terrible. I came here with my kids and my younger one wanted to go to washroom but the condition of the toilets is pathetic. I literally had to go to subway(just opposite)for her to use the washroom. Hope atleast the kitchen where the food is cooked is in good hygienic conditionBut no way m visiting this place again

Chickadees is the best chicken shop in Manchester even better then Miamis and thats hard to achieve. The flame grilled burger is juicy, succulent, tender its the best burger you can think of. Most of the things in Chickadees is very unique from the bread to the burger options. Definitely recommend to go dine in or delivery great food 10/10.

The staff have terrible attitude and very miserable. The wings is the worst thing on the menu, smaller than a little finger. Wouldn’t feed this to my dog

Chickadees was my favourite takeaway in Cheadle and the local area. I have ordered there week in, week out for years. Over the past couple of months I have received cold deliveries, missing items and today I have received cold rice, missing items again and a "delivery" driver who calls the first unsure where he is delivering and then on return with the missing item an hour later rings again for us to collect from his vehicle. Simply not good enough and taking my "loyalty" elsewhere

The worst burger I had ever have was in this place. The fried chicken was not that bad, but expensive as well .

Great food, shame about the cleanliness. I dined in, & had to clean my table w some alcohol gel & tissues I had to hand. The ladies toilets are a bit of a gloomy affair. There was no toilet roll.

Great takeaway. Just wish people wouldn’t park all around the roads and block the street. Great food though!

First time I've been here, bit of a mixed bag really. We ordered a veggie pizza and a Gourmet peri peri chicken burger meal with dips. First the dips, the spicy mayo dip was amazing but the salsa dip was just weird. Didn't taste like salsa, wasn't great, wasn't terrible, just weird.The pizza was average, not bad, not great, just ok. It was more expensive than some places I've been but I wouldn't buy it again. The burger was the best thing about the meal. Really flavoursome, cooked well, tender chicken and just the right amount of bang, btw I opted for the burger without the egg.However, a big issue is the value for money proposition. The burger barely filled me up and there weren't enough chips either. Certainly, the meal wasn't worth £7.50, especially when you consider Miami down the road and what they are offering. Something for Chickadees to perhaps think about.The staff were friendly and there was plenty of parking available.I would go again but perhaps not as often as I frequent other places.

Decent food but too expensive. Started off really reasonable now the prices are increasing but quantity is still reducing. You can pay half the price for similar quality food. £7 chicken burger meal in the photo
