Chutney Blu in Stockport

Thanks to chuck up blu for closing.now helping to save the NHS.by not cooking.

Was not nice at all onion bhaji like bricks. Curry was extremely salty and lacked flavor had also split and had burnt bits in where it looked they scraped from bottom of the pan. Onion rice was not like what I've ever had plus had added black hard brnnt onions in. Poppadoms rubbery. They said would be 30 mins but was an hour.

I'm really surprised at the bad reviews on here can only guess they are from rival take aways? We've had take away from here for years always arrived hot always super tasty, quality Indian food. Ok so on occasion we've waited a little longer than the 45 mins they advise it will take but I presume from this it's because they are busy... Good sign I'd say and it's always been worth the wait. On two occasions in previous years ordered party food from them in form of giant pots of curry and naan which has always gone down a treat and worked out really good value for money per person. Delivery drivers are friendly, have tried others in the area , the best around the area as far as I'm concerned

Ordered a delivery takeaway from this place. when the delivery arrived items were missing. We rang up to advise them and they stated they would return with the missing items. 40 mins later and still no sign of the missing items we rang again. We were then told they were busy and as a result they would not be returning with the items, mistakes happen but it is how you handle them. I would suggest that you calculate your bill before they arrive with the food because on more than one occasion they have overchtarged us, customers beware. We will now vote with our feet.

Ordered for delivery last week for the first time.Really nice so thought we'd try again tonight.poppadoms over done ( brown).Mains meals the sauce really nice but the chicken poor . Very dry.Not sure if I would try again.

Easy ordering system, easy to pay. Delivered within time. Tikka starter lovely, mains....oh dear, lamb chops like old leather, tough tough tough, went in the bin! Chicken in main tough and rubbery, sauce amazing, really good shame about the meat. Very disappointed. Won’t be ordering again I’m afraid.

Ordered curry last night took nearly 2 hours to arrive tried ringing to no avail. When eventually arrived every item cold. Not a small Oder over 26 pond's worth. When I eventually got through to complain didn't even get an apology. In this day and age plenty of competition. Definitely taking my custom elsewhere. Just warning others. Thanks

Ordered a take out, which took nearly 2hours to arrive. It was obviously only just warm the chicken tikka masala had a greyish tinge. If fact the whole meal was awful. Will never order from there again.
