Busy,good atmosphere,staff attentive but defo didnt rush you out the door.Plenty of parking .Food excellent, value for money,decor all refurbished and looked fab .Give it a visit.

Friendly, attentive staff. Clean spacious interior with good atmosphere. Very generous portions. Good quality food, well presented. Costs more than average pub grub, but price reflects the quality of the food.

Lovely pub, lovely staff and food was amazing. I had the Pate starter and super food salad bowl and it was beautiful. Tasted fresh.

Staff very helpful and friendly. My meal was lovely, I had. Mushroom Wellington which Wasn't on the days menu but as I am a vegetarian they offered me this as an alternative to other options. Will definitely be going again. The pub was really nicely designed and decorated. Lynn

Known of this pub for years but never been in, until today. New Year Bank Holiday Monday and we, my wife and I, just happened to be passing at around midday. We stopped in, on the off-chance they could fit us in. Very friendly staff, quick and efficient service and, very importantly, excellent food!The menu is varied, without being too extensive, and the prices are very reasonable.The pub is nicely fitted out with good facilities and very clean toilets.We realised that we had dropped very lucky to get a table for lunch as the place soon began to fill up. We were not placed under any pressure to leave our table but we drank up and left so another couple could be seated.The pub has got some covid measures in place....no drinking at the bar, the tables are spaced out a little more and sanitiser is on hand if you require it. Tables are cleaned down between sittings and face coverings are, thankfully, optional.A very pleasant lunch experience overall!

Spacious and cosy environment. Attentive, friendly staff. Very fast service.Food looks lovely but my burger and chips disappointing. Tasted like a big ball of chewy mince meat left in juices until brown and sour. No flavours. Chips hand cut but overdone on outside bit raw in inside and oily. Huge pile of red lettuce and soggy coleslaw.Salt Pepper Squid starter big chunks caked in thick batter and over cooked a little chewy.Pie and Steak Pudding much much better. Monk fish smelled like we are not by the sea.Pasta wolfed down with no complaints.Robbies beer a bit Meh and outdated regardless of citra hops.. Quality chocolate torte and B&B pudding very nice.Above average pub grub that looks more gastro than it tastes.

Enjoyed a bottle of wine. Staff fantastic and busy preparing for Halloween. Fantastic atmosphere
