Donatello's in Stockport

Had a fantastic meal tonight, happy hour two courses 10.95. piping hot fresh meals perfectly cooked. Attentive hosts, truly enjoyable evening. There's a reason why some restaurants have being around for ever.

This restaurant is my number one place. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this place. everytime I want to go to a decent supper, this place comes first to my mind. best and food and a large menu.courteous crew, and good vibes. In addition to that, the expence is fair. I sent my friends to this place with pleasure.

The food is constantly well prepared and tasty, workers provides great customer service. I loved how neat it is and ambience. Worth a try.

Took friends out to eat, had not been here for years and won't be going back the food was very poor the waiter was friendly enough but I'd rather have a nice meal than a nice waiter

Very tasty local Italian- good value for money. Good service. Nice wine. Fresh flowers in the ladies toilet is a lovely touch.

Food is amazing, you should always keep an eye on the specials board, house wine is really good and the owner is very friendly and genuinely interested in his customers, go there a few times and he will start to remember your name. I think the menu does need updating though as it hasn't changed in a long time.

Friendly staff and very nice ambiance, however, the pizza is sub-par at best. It's definitely not the authentic type that you would except with the representation it displays. I feel like I just wasted £16, for two very small pizzas, on something I could have picked up from Tesco's freezer aisle. In light of this, I'm removing three stars from my overall rating.

A 25th Birthday meal for four with ages from 25 to 70 so various starters, main courses and sweets, all of which were superb. A good selection of "real" food, cooked from order so, yes, it takes a little longer but the standard is worth every extra moment. The service? Why does it seem to only be in proper Italian Restaurants that they still have those little touches which make the service so good. Donattello's is perfect example of how service ought to be. I have been going to this restaurant for a number of years. It is small but well decorated with a very lively atmosphere. The serving staff are brilliant, welcoming and warm. They have tales of Italy and love to share time and chat. The food is brilliant and reasonably priced. One thing you should note is that if you do go you should not plan to do anything else that night. I'm sure they work on the premiss that eating out is the event of the evening and not simply a stop gap to the cinema.Well worth the experience and time. A must.
