Edgeley Park Conference and Events in Stockport

Attended a works Christmas function on Friday 15 November. Unfortunately we found the function room to be dilapidated and dirty especially the toilet areas. As for the bar, it was ridiculous prices and poor service. Four of the drinks rounds we're identical, but we had four different bills. When I challenged the bar man why all our drinks went through the till as a pint of Fosters, he replied "that's the way we have to do it" Well the way we have to do things is by voting with our feet by not coming again and recommending a different venue for future functions, and posting on all available review sites. So get the place and yourselves cleaned up.

I was there last night on a works party we had two lots off tables we did not eat at the same time orders were wrong and drinks very pricey would not go again

Attended a charity ball here last night, service was atrocious, there was only one member of staff I would employ.The prices behind the bar were ridiculous it cost almost as much for a mixer as it did for the drink to put it in, and as for the meal..... What was described as soup was nothing more than tepid unseasoned passata with a swirl of something white in it, the main meal whilst being delicious was only appetiser sized and the dessert looked and tastes like Iceland profiteroles with a mere drizzle of the chocolate sauce and 2 qtr strawberries.The dance floor was full but as other reviewers have mentioned it is handkerchief sized and the band were really good.I will attend again next year as it is for charity but will eat before I arrive or take a packed lunch!

Had our full wedding day there in June this year. We had a fabulous day, Julie and Kevin were very enthusiastic and helpful during the planning, build up and during the actual day. Nothing was too much trouble.The food was very impressive, the resident DJ was more than adequate. We would definitely recommend this venue. Steve and Wendy Burke, Bredbury.

We were at the event on Saturday 2nd December (the Sweet Sensation Christmas party) with friends. The service and food were excellent. The music played on the night (both by the DJ and the band) was superb. The dancefloor was full for most of the night and a lot of people (ourselves included) had a great night. I would highly recommend these nights to anyone.

What a great atmosphere, really enjoyable party and we met some lovely people attending from different places of work. Mississippi Soul Man was fantastic, food was lovely, nice staff. I will be recommending to others for next year

Conference room we booked wasnt ready when we arrived they thought we were coming next day! Projector rubbishTables not laid out! Tea and coffee awful. Loo floor not mopped from previous function!Only got one star as staff were nice and did best to resolve issues! Would have been zero otherwise!

Tribute band left us flat! No atmosphere, the only reason dance floor looked full is because it's small. Wouldn't come again on a tribute band night!

I had my 50th, wedding reception and came to a dinner and band for my husband's 50th. Brilliant place run by fantastic staff

Bunch of toffee nosed staff, its Stockport - not Surrey. If you want to be looked down upon this is your place.
