My food was good but partners baked potato was cold, we had to clean our cutlery. Overheard poor service at table next to us. We won't be going here again. I would say visit the garden centre next door which has a cafe. The area is beautiful, great for taking kids to feed the ducks

Pretty good for a park cafe, a choice of food and drinks on offer, not just unhealthy cakes!

·

Fantastic that it's there. Cakes were all stale, coffe extremely weak. Not sure if it was bad timing or new staff. It used to be really nice so I feel something has changed

The staff are always friendly here and dogs are welcome. The food is nice and there's a decent enough selection for a cafe lunch. It's perfect after a walk around the lake.

Fantastic for a walk. Lots of interesting things to see. There are hills to climb woods to walk through a powerful weir to watch and hear toilets and a cafe. Perfect

Stopped in for a snack after a walk around the park, the snacks are so nice, I've had brownies and flapjack and taste so great, and are a good price for the quality and portion size.

Better than Costa and doesn't cost as much. Really friendly and professional service. Ideal for that Sunday morning breakfast with a view.

Great place but Dcan get very busy at weekends. I find it better to go up into Keg wood where there is a couple of nice picnic areas

What a lovely little café! The atmosphere is welcoming, the food is great, and contrary to other reviews, I would say incredibly reasonably priced. There were two of us who had lunch, we both had hot food and a drink each, and it totalled just over £12. Not too bad! The café is both dog and children friendly, and is run by Pure Innovations, a charity providing help to members of the local community, "helping them to create fulfilled lives with a sense of purpose and belonging". Can't really fault the place, and great views over the lake. Lovely afternoon out!

Lovely walk with the family. We all enjoyed feeding the ducks and geese! And a nice cafe for ice cream and cold drinks afterwards 😀
