Lovely food, good sized portions.

I genuinely have no idea as to why this Take Away would receive any decent ratings?We ordered out food and waited 90 minutes for it to arrive, which was ok, it was a Saturday evening and we were in no rush, albeit 90 minutes does seem excessive?When the food arrived it was still hot after it’s journey and so we began to serve it straight away.The food was absolutely terrible, it didn’t appear to have been seasoned in any way.The Special Chow Mein was bland and was oily and virtually inedible, with the minimum amount of meat mixed with the blandest and greasy noodles I’ve ever tasted.The other meal was no different, bland and absolutely tasteless, the only saving grace was the seasoning on the Salt & Pepper chips ordered.The chips themselves weren’t anything special, just the usual cheap frozen chips, even the chillis and onions in with them were bland, however because there was some seasoning on them (the clue is in the name of the dish!), that at least offered a modicum of flavour if eaten with the other dishes.Surely it’s not right to have to take a mouthful of chips in a worthless attempt to add flavour to the rest of the meal?We may as well have taken what we paid for it and put that in the bin instead!In the end we ended up binning well over half of the food we ordered, incredibly disappointed and we will most certainly not be returning.Incredibly disappointed.

Great takeaway, would recommend the munchy box if your hungry and can’t decide.

For a Chinese, delivered, we have always enjoyed the food we've had from Golden Flower. This time, we ordered £180's worth for a particular occasion and it was all delivered on time, very warm, really nice and enjoyed by all. We've never had any complaints in the past either. Recommended.

I love the won ton soup, har kau, wor tip and char siu fried rice here, have ordered many times & they are my go-to for Chinese takeaway, but today, my siu mai order was raw and it was not very nice to have to spit out raw meat >^

Ordered from here twice in the last month. Food has been excellent each time and very quick delivery despite us living several miles away. It’s slightly more expensive than the other Chinese’s near us, but food is much nicer and we get a free can and prawn crackers from the golden flower.

Used to be great but not very well run. Ordered with a 90 min wait for a chow mein - two hours later they tell you it’s about to be delivered. 20 minutes later exactly same story...Took over 140 mins for a chow mein and 1/4 duck...

Lovely, I’ve been getting a delivery from here for a few years now and have never had any issues and the food is piping hot and really tasty. The delivery is within the time given.

Just had my first home delivery from Golden Flower Marple and was delighted with the ease of ordering, delivery and quality of the food. The set meal B for two persons was exquisite. The delivery chap was very friendly. Highly recommended, definately going to use more often. Many thanks. A very satisfied New Mills customer. 😀😀

Used to really like these guys so ordered when they re-opened so I ordered 2 times now. The first time I noticed they have changed their recipes firstly - for the worse, but secondly the meal I just bought was inedible it was so salty my wife couldnt eat it and I left my plate half eaten for first time in my life... and I'd had 4 beers but could still taste how bad it was... shame but they lost a regular customer tonight.
