Golden Plate in Stockport

Golden plate is awesome, I went with my dad and he loves it too, they have an amazing breakfast and when I was in college they did great chips and gravy 🐷

Freshly cooked. Staff very pleasant . Visit regularly.

Had a quote on quote “mega breakfast” today, was nothing short of an average breakfast, 2 sausage, 2 bacon, 2 toast, egg cup of beans , 2 hash browns, 7 pound very expensive for what it is…….. save your self 3 pound and go down the road to Claudios

Pleasant staff. Proper old school greasy cafe. The food standards rating leaves a lot to be desired though. Wouldn’t eat here again.

Mega Breakfsst definetley wasn't mega. I've seen bigger kids portions than what they call mega and a full English that doesn't have hash browns? Even asked to swap a sausage for for hash brown and was told it would cost extra then wasn't even swapped

Just had a really lovely traditional breakfast here. It was perfect.

Excellent local café, great food and friendly staff. Mega breakfast is mega, Grilled chicken salad is very tasty, as too are the omelettes. My 10 year old son always has the burger and tells me it's awesome and loves the milkshakes. There is also a kids corner with colouring books and crayons.

Me and partner come here regularly and every time we arrive we are greeted very warmly and made to feel very welcome by all the staff. The food is outstanding, very well presented and cooked to perfection, I highly recommend them :)

Had a Breakfast last week. The bacon had been put in the deep fat fryer and was very tough like leather. The breakfast tasted of old fryer oil . The woman was pleasant. I left most of my breakfast and so did others that were dining.. Gordon Ramsey needs to visit the cold store down stairs I Will avoid next time
