Hazel Spice in Stockport

terrible customer service, they don't answer the phone! I refuse to get an app just to order some food, they also once charged me twice and had to speak with the owner to get the money back, the food however is very good, but if they no longer answer the phone I'm no longer ordering from them so it's their loss.

Have food every week good food and fresh staff very nice and the set meal for 2 is a bargain told all my friends to try and always get lots and free poppadoms and chutney and mint sauce and salad give it go I did

AVOID HAZEL SPICE - My partner and I had severe food poisoning after eating a takeaway from here on Tuesday 5th October (it was the only meal we both had that day). An experience we won't forget in a hurry.

So, ordered food tonight at 8.11, it came at 10.43!!!!!!!!!, rather than the driver apologise and say sorry we are so late, we had a driver down, he was rude and said ur 4.5 miles away it’s not worth my while driving to you!!! Even though I’ve had lovely delivery drivers before with no problem!l and ordered numerous times !!!! U took my money, you delivered my take away over 2.5 hrs later and then was rude !! Omg!!! Really!!!! Shocking, disappointed and I’ve lost a valuable customer!!!!

Food was mega! Should have shared one but got one each. Highly recommended!!!

Brilliant place. Collected and got delivery from this place many times and the quality of the staff is brilliant and the food is amazing, highly recommended so give them a try, you won't be disappointed. 5*

The food is lovely hence why I go back..but yet again poor delivery with no phone call to update or say sorry. Ordered 7.24pm it's now 9.39pm and still not here. Going bed on a full stomach again. C'mon guys take the 60min clock down off ur website.

Absolutely delicious food with polite and helpful staff. The delivery drivers are incredibly friendly, even offering to go fetch rice when I didn't order any. Their Hazel special is delicious and their sauces are amazing.You always get poppadoms with a variety of dips, and the quality and price of the food is great. Best Indian in Manchester, let alone Stockport.

I ordered from deliveroo tonight. I was pleased to find that the expected delivery time was only 30 minutes. Then 45 minutes later I was still okay that my order status had only just changed to on route. However 1 hour and 30 minutes after I placed my order the restaurant changed my order status to delivered. Nobody had been. Nobody had called. I spent another 30 minutes speaking with live chat support as the restaurant wasnt answering calls. Finally the chat said they would give me a refund as it seemed my order had disappeared off the face of the earth and nobody was able to contact. I began cooking my own dinner, then low and behold the doorbell. Poor delivery guy got the brunt of my hanger as I unloaded my frustrations on him. I know it wasnt the poor guys fault, but how else do I get contact through to the restaurant when they dont answer?! They had added a few extra bits which were useless to me. So I couldnt eat them. All I wanted was an accurate update and not to lie about the order having been delivered. This caused me so much hassle and stress. Now I feel guilty about the delivery boy, when I was just trying to give feedback. And to add to this, I dont eat dairy, and the rice definitely had butter in it, which wasnt stated on the menu. So now I'm going to be poorly too. What a wonderful evening! A customer lost!

Was recommended this place by a friend and so glad I tried them, you get loads of food for your money and it's always really tasty and hot on delivery. Would highly recommend
