Kismet in Stockport

Genuine authentic Indian cuisine, met by welcoming staff that are very polite and courteous. Food is always lovely, tasty and plentiful. Very reasonably priced. Cannot be missed and will visit again. Best Indian in my opinion. Visited again July 2019, maintains its 5 star rating. Further visit January 2022, Food was delicious, nice atmosphere and service continues to be polite, courteous and friendly. Still 5 stars and I recommend a visit. Visited again April 2022 lovely meal and great service.

My mate ordered lamp chops, fish, cheesy chicken last night. Disgusting, I think if I've ever eaten cat or dog is was last night. Got a bit of a dodgy belly today. But the mrs said the poppadums were nice.

Beautiful food, amazing service and will definitely be returning. The set menu on a sunday is worth every penny and is very generous sizing. Fully accomadated my 2 kids and also offered ice cream before we left. Really friendly staff and their attention to detail is outstanding.

I ordered a takeaway as I was dropping people off. It wasn't ready when I arrived. The takeaway was ordered for a specific time, I understand things don't always run on time. I had to wait twenty minutes for it with no explanation as to why it was delayed. When I got home i found the starter was missing from my order and one of the items had leaked. I was so looking forward to what I had ordered - but was disappointed. Maybe it's what I chose, all I can say about the food that I had it was mediocre and edible. This is the first time I have experience of the Kismet - not a very good first impression

Best Chicken Tikka Saag I have ever had, full of flavour and cooked perfectly, Keema Naan was fresh and hot along with the Kismet Special starter and mixed kebab, excellent value for money and lovely delivery driver, nice hand off thank you 😊
