Lee's Chinese Food in Stockport

Usually I have the beef curry but decided to try something different. We’ve been coming here since I was a child. How did I not ever think to try the beef satay & noodles? Absolutely beautiful! If I could give it more stars I would. Proper chips. Gorgeous sauce. Soft lovely noodles. If you keep serving up that you’ll make me fat!

Every1 was saying how nice this chippy is so i tried it and ot was disgusting. The mini spring rolls were all empty and the mixed meat curry was terrible. They must of poured a full tub of salt onit. It was inedible and got thrown in the bin. NEVER AGAIN

Been going here for over 4 decades and the beef curry has never failed to impress, we've even got our daughters now obsessed with it.Please don't ever change the recipe.I'm sure they do other nice Chinese food but I can't order anything other than the beef curry

The sweet and sour sauce was very thin nothing great, but worse was the chicken that came seperate.It was cooked in the same greasy batter as they do the fish, tasted horrible. Ordered special fried rice, nothing special about it just the price £7.60. Beef & mushrooms were ok, quite nice the mrs said, then again shes not eaten all day. Seen better days before lockdown this takeaway, wheres the old man who usually worked here? Hope hes ok

After many years of enjoying the food at Lees, unfortunately in the last year or so it has gone down hill to the extreme, the food which was some of the best Chinese I’ve ever had is now nothing more than a bland boring tasteless dish, we have tried numerous times hoping “it was a one off” but after over half a dozen attempts there is no improvement, we ordered chicken and sweet corn soups last week and I cannot even explain how disgustingly bland and tasteless they were, they went in the bin, followed by the bland and boring satay (which was always great from Lees)Unfortunately I fear this takeaway will be no more in a short while as it has really gone downhill since the old man Peter has gone, the young ones need to step it up or the custom will dry up very fast.

Authentic Chinese food. Love the chips and proper curry sauce. Healthy options. And good selection of vegetarian dishes, far more than average eateries. High recommend.

I go to this place from time to time! This is the best place to to have a good dinner. I go there frequently. The meals are great, the workers are professional and the prices are fair. I enjoy going in this spot to have a rich dinner.

Been going for over 25 years. Quite simply the best Chinese takeaway in Stockport. Have tried others but nothing comes close. Their curry sauce is the best I’ve ever tasted. Their meat is the best, not rubbery like you get at some places.. proper meat and cooked to perfection. I know people who travel far and wide to come to this Chinese myself included. If lees ever closed I would be genuinely gutted. Promise me you will give me the recipe to your curry sauce I just couldn’t live without it in my life. Anyway here’s to many more years of this great chinese. Keep doing what you do and I’ll keep coming back for more.

Fantastic, can't get enough of the place. Staff are incredibly friendly, prices are great and food is second to none to any other Chinese take out, their signature curry is the best I've ever tasted. Couldn't live without this place. Best family owned chippy I've ever been to.
