Lovely little cafe, family friendly . Lovely staff & very friendly, also table service which is really nice. Much nicer than your fast food places. So why not pop in for a bite to eat & a cuppa.

Visited The Mermaid Friary for the 1st time today. The service was brilliant - orders taken from the table. Food arrived very quickly and was piping hot and A1 quality - best chips I've had in a long time! Have paid more money in other places for food much poorer quality. Will certainly be visiting again

Really appreciate the option of vegetarian sausages and without doubt the best fry up in Stockport! The eggs are always cooked to perfection and its really well presented and well priced. The only business I've known to stay in that location for more than a year or so without going bust so that speaks for itself!
