Had meal here yesterday. Battered cod was all batter and only the smallest amount of cod in the batter! Chips did not taste like chips. I feel conned! Service was good but I would not visit again.Hi, Thank you for your reply.Further to the above, I would also like to point out that there was no tartar sauce on my plate and had to carry my plate of food to look for it, then there was no labelling next to the various dishes of sauces. I selected a white sauce which my have been correct but it tasted of garlic or mustard.

Nice place. I visited at about 5pm yesterday (Friday 25th March). Great staff, especially Steve who served me at the bar. He made eye contact, was presentable, smart with name badge etc, was friendly and always professional. An asset to the company!Good selection of beers and served very cold too, just how they should be!

I often visit here for the carvery as the food is always fresh, extremely tasty and very good value for money.John, Shaun and all of their staff are always very welcoming, cheerful and happy creating a very pleasant and enjoyable dining atmosphere.I would highly recommend anyone looking for a delicious carvery to visit this venue - you won't be disappointed!!

Having previously visited here some years back whilst under another chain I had vowed never to return. Heard good reviews since and was offered the chance at a meal from a family member.We visiting on a Sunday afternoon. Luckily we had booked a table. Highly advised for Sundays as the place was heaving! Adequate parking and disabled accessible.Shame that you need to join a huge queue to order and pay at the bar but this has always been this way on this site. Options to upgrade on carvery meals.Fresh array to choose from and a good portion of your chosen meat. Yorkshire pudding are tiny and not homemade from batter on site, despite this the meal was tasty and hot.My biggest let down of this visit was the online Deliveroo/Uber orders. These obviously generate extra income for the establishment but the kitchen staff were breathing down your neck, taking over the whole carvery deck whilst adding to your plate and dropping things onto the counters which were then added back for diners to pick from. Luckily we had already filled our plates!!Nice clean tables though on a sunny day, sitting in the conservatory area can be a bit difficult for the eyes and the curtains don't cover half a window each.Decent range of desserts though all the sundaes were literally vanilla ice cream with different toppings.Didn't sample the pizzas or other items on the menu so can not comment on those.

Amazing food amazing friendly staff. John-Paul took extra time and effort into my sons allergy the hole pizza section was cleand down. Rach amazing table service happy and friendly lady.

Attended this evening 19/02/22 spoke to John before hand as it was a delicate situation and wanted everything to run smoothly. The staff and John could not have done enough to make sure everything ran smoothly. Vert attentive and ensured every single on of us where happy, the server Vicki was very nice and ensured that all of our needs were met, massive improvement and could not be happier with service an food.

Absolutely gorgeous carvery. I've been a few times over the years and my most recent visit (Jan 22) was the best. The staff were all friendly, the food excellent and the service couldn't be faulted. I will definitely be returning

Rachel was our waitress and I cannot praise her enough! She was so friendly, personable and funny! Best waitress ever! Amazing service ✨ The food was ok.

Just had my Christmas Dinner there the staff (Rachel. Phoebe and Johnny) were absolutely fantastic so welcoming friendly and most helpful nothing was too much trouble for them. This means so much to me with lacking in confidence and being disabled they made me feel at complete ease and the food was outstanding. Me and my dad (Len) enjoyed it and we highly recommend it. Will definitely be there next year. Jess the manager was also very friendly and most helpful also. 👍 👍👍

We regularly visit the mickerbrook for our carvery, never leave disappointed. Came on Xmas day, all 7 of us, can’t fault the food or service at all, very efficient and friendly staff. Thank you for our lovely meal & experience as always.
