Nixons Farm Shop and Tea Room in Stockport

Pleasant enough place ,seemed very popular ,smaller than I imagined it would be with the actual farm shop being quite small and to be honest stocking items you could actually buy from a local supermarket ,I did buy some fresh chicken which was reasonable value.My dispointment came in the cafe ,paying ten pounds for a panini and small portion of chips ,some of which had eyes in, that to be honest ,a decent cook would not have sent chips out like that ,staff seemed to like to stand and chat with each other as well which was somewhat off putting .

As breakfasts go... 6 stars here! Service is brilliant... food amazing (as you would hope and they don't disappoint) and very reasonably priced. Perfect!

Great age friendly for up to preschool , facilities are overall excellent and the kitchens provide delicious and great valye for money fare. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Super impressed with all the improvements put into the Barn and Garden area! Particularly the little baby area that's set apart nicely ☺️ The kids all had a really fun time and was well set up for half term fun! Well done Nixon's it's great to see how far the farm has come over the years!! Definitely a hidden gem 💎

Excellent quality meat and service. My son, for health reasons, has had eating problems, and they have very kindly cut there lamb chops to suit his palette. Thank you

We didn't even know this place was here but now we do we'll be regular. As for food I had a burger and it was amazing and from their own field to table. Plus the playbarn and outdoor area for the kids was huge and loads of toys

Visited today. Payed £12 for 2 kids, pricing not explained, apparently what I payed for the play barn wasn't what was needed for the outdoor area but nothing explained, the girl on the checkout was busy eating whilst serving. Not what I anticipated from the website. Disappointed overall. Nice seeing the animals at least.

Excellent in every way. The play barn brilliant for the kids and spoilt for choice of things to do and play with.Been buying from the butchers for many many years and cannot fault anything they sell. You can buy as little or as much as you need and they are very knowledgeable about cuts of meat.The pet centre is lovely and all the animals look well cared for and pens are kept clean.The tea shop is brilliant too. Just visit its great!!!!

A fantastic tea shop with great staff. We were going on a trip away for the weekend and the breakfast set us up for the journey. Great food. Well cooked and delicious. I'll be back. Casey was very patient with us when we were ordering.

What a little gem this place is! Absolutely perfect for children especially little ones came here for a spot of lunch in the outdoor area and have been back the following day for breakfast my daughter (1yo) absolutely loves this place so much outdoor space to roam free and plenty of toys and climbing frames to keep her busy whilst we enjoy a nice break and lovely food. The place is well kept and there's plenty on site from butchers, farm shop, cafes/tea rooms a large indoor barn play area we will be taking our older son to later today a small animal area every thing you need for a truly lovely afternoon. Staff are also lovely and the place is clean and tidy and well organised and go above and beyond for covid regulations! DEFFIENTLY WORTH A VISIT!
