Do not go to this place.We were peacefully having a pint outside when a rude customer appeared from inside and instructed us to move from her "reversed table" which they had vacated when we arrived, as they had gone inside to eat.Once they had finished they returned outside and insisted that we move.Staff, who up to this point were very accommodating did nothing when we explained this to them.We had planned to return for a meal later this week, but now won't bother, as we fear we will be moved again.

If you want to be moved from your table mid-visit, this is the place to come.We were moved by a rude customer who insisted that the table we were sitting at was reserved, and when staff came outside and we complained that we had been moved to sit on the wall, they simply said "oh" and walked away.Some training in customer service may be needed...

Nice lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. Good choice on the menu nice food and friendly staff after walking in the Peak District.

Lovely pub and beers. Disappointed I was told twice that pork was no longer available for the Sunday roast and then it was offered to the table next to us 20 minutes later. And of course they ordered it. Gutted.

Always a fab place to visit.. Veggie lovers will like the options here as well, but I love the Pork Sunday dinner

Guys you did it again I stuck with Xmas menu and it was a treat the feather blade beef was superb rest of party went from main menu and were ecstatic whenever these friends visit they always ask can we go to the Oddies. Also the staff never disappoint the girls were attentive and courteous wonderful night back soon

Realy nice helpful staff who enjoy a bit of banter and amazing food. Well priced and lovely location. Will defo be back.

A really nice meal in a nice pub with good and attentive staff.Great Sunday dinner.A definite revisit.The only draw back was they don't sell boxes of the biscuits they brought with the coffee, those were nice and I would have happily bought a box or two.

Excellent food. And on a very busy Saturday night. Staff worked hard and went the extra mile to give good service.

A bit of a disappointment after reading great reviews. The lunch menu was a bit uninspiring. The steak & kidney pudding was very soggy and lacking steak and kidney. The burger was dry. Everything tasted ok - it just wasn't great.
