Local takeaway and they deliver.I have been using this takeaway for years and years. I have never had a bad meal and the food is always hot. The menu has lots to offer and you can get soft drinks also.

Always our first choice for Chinese. Well priced, incredibly tasty and the family who run it are some of the friendliest people you’ll meet!

I had a delivery of Beef Chow Mein. The food was warm and tasted very good. The delivery seemed to be on time.

After seeing a review from someone called George saying the family are not even Chinese? How rude is that? They are actually! Their little boy sit on the counter, and if you had the heart why don't you go in and see for yourself! However they employ a clear speaking person to answer the phones so rude customers dont get annoyed for getting the order wonrg!However I have ordered from here since the one near Asda closed for refirb. I am happy with everything I order. Chips are so lovely and crunchy and the food is spot on. I order about once a month and the delivery driver is also very friendly

Had a big family takeaway meal last night, Sat 28th Dec, . First time I have had food from there, never again! I ordered crab and sweet corn soup followed by special chow mein, what I got was crab stick and sweet corn soup (which contains no crab, one for trading standards here maybe? ) . The. Chow mein smelt good but that’s as good as it got, once I had taken out the 2 prawns and 5 small pieces of “meat” all that that left was dry, inedible noodles!

We have used Oriental Hut for or as long as they’ve been there, it has always been excellent,until tonight, after ordering our meal at 6:00pm and being advised delivery would be “90 minutes “ we were still waiting at 8:30,after phoning, and being assured that we would only have to wait ”10 minutes” we went up to collect the food, we were forced to wait another 45 minutes, to cap it all, a previous customer had £30 knocked off their food after waiting for a similar time and offering £50 instead of the full price,,my wife, after asking for a similar discount was offered “free spring rolls” by an incandescent owner, who obviously had not sanctioned the aforementioned discount offered by the young lad.Furthermore, several other customers, walked out after waiting, and then cancelling their orders, another customer advised, that when their phone rang not to take any more orders, “as you can’t meet the orders you already have” and then left.On finally receiving our order, we returned home, only to find that our order was wrong, you really could not make it up!Needless to say, we will not be returning, which is a shame, but we will not be taken as fools.Chinese New Year or not, I hope that they have time to consider this appalling lack of customer service going forward when customers are a little harder to come by!

All I ordered was a large chips and curry and it came in a large tray when I got home chips were uncooked and the portion was smaller than small portions from different Chinese and the family aren't even Chinese very disappointed when I called them to tell them about their mistake they told me that's their large portion, for £3.20 I'd rather drink bleach

Really disappointing. Chips are pre processed, sauce tastes like curry and gravy blended together and becomes sickly very quickly. The place itself is really outdated and the waiting area makes you feel like you're in a bottom end bedsit.
